Edgerton, Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 05:03 PM I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer... and it had already spread onto my pelvis, hips, ribs, spine, etc etc... my two doctors each had a blood PSA run, and the labs ran the psa up to the top of the scale...diluted it, ran it back up and so on... my blood PSA topped out in excess of 2,000... to be exact.. 2,082... I had lost almost 100-lbs in body weight (from 252lbs down to 156lbs).. and was immediately started on Leuprolide Acetate... and things began to look up, I have since gained 36lbs, and am able to move around without much pain.. my treatment began 3 months ago.. I began with a " 1-mo. injection " .. then took a 4-mo. injection...
