Have you EVER had a doctor question you about religion during an interview?

It is not preposterous. Who are YOU to think for . He is a very

religious man. Apparently this is important to him because he asks about it.

" at least this is what she thought the reasons were. "

There was no doubt in my mind that one of those reasons was

preposterous---the one about being religious---and that the other

one, if she was currently smoking marijuana---was entirely reasonable.

So I just now phoned Dr. 's office and spoke with one of his

nurses, who actually couldn't keep from laughing when I mentioned the

religious question. The answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT. They do not care at

all what a person's religion is unless, I suppose, that religion

requires them to do things that compromise their health. And I would

hope that before anyone would ever put such a thing on a public

message board for 3500 members to read that they would call Dr.

's office themselves to find out the truth.

About the other supposed reason, that of smoking marijuana, the nurse

said it all depends. If the person is currently smoking marijuana, it

could affect 's decision as to whether or not to work with

someone. But if it was 20 or 30 years ago, certainly not.

My own opinion is that I would be an IMBECILE to be smoking ANYTHING

if I knew I had cancer, UNLESS I had decided I was terminal with

absolutely NO hope left, and was using the marijuana for pain relief.
