I believe I remember reading that drugs can get stored in your fat cells, so that when you lose weight and burn the fat, you get the toxins stored in them. Just a theory.. How's your mouth doing? Oh my mouth is great, but I'm still trying to get back where I was with my candida cure before I took the antibiotics. I stayed on the diet of course through the whole round of antibiotics, but I ended up with a psoriasis flare-up, acne and yeast infection that are slowly subsiding.. Hi Shirley: Funny you should ask how the pau d'arco tea is working for my hives. Hives fhave been plaguing me for a couple of years. I've been drinking the tea for two months now and just this morning, realized that I haven't had a hive for awhile. (And crossing fingers that they don't come back). I still intend to drink the tea, anything that supposedly cleanses the blood can only be a plus. - p

Guest guest
I've been getting it from Prince Tea - http://www.princetea.com They have a special of 5 pounds of the bark for $100. I've been buying it in that quantity. In order to get the proper effect you must simmer the tea for at least 20 minutes. I just put it in a stainless steel stock pot with the proper amount of water, boil it for 20-30 minutes, add the water that was lost as steam and strain the liquid through a piece of cloth to remove the bark. I usually make 3 quarts at a time; that gives me 4 days worth at 3 cups a day. I used the remaining bark as a poultice for athlete's foot for a while; it really helped in getting rid of it. It contains no caffeine. The info on the webpage http://www.pau-d-arco.com indicates there are no adverse reactions with any other medications, vitamins or foodstuffs. Guest guest
Hi guys, I make mine with ground cloves added to it. It sure gives it alot of flavor and you get the added antioxidents from cloves. I was surprised to read hear somewhere along time ago how high the antioxidents are in cloves. Its one of the highest amounts in a spice. Zack, isn't pau d' arco tea good for cancers? I'm going to try making it this way. Val Zack Widup <w9sz@...> wrote: Hi Marei, I buy mine from www.princetea.com and prepare it according to the instructions they include with the packages (3 tablespoons of the ground bark per quart of water, bring to a boil and simmer covered for at least 20 minutes). I do this in a stainless steel stockpot and after it's cooled I strain it through a cloth into a glass jar. I've been drinking 3 8-oz. glasses of it a day. They recommend drinking 4 glasses a day if you have serious health problems. Guest guest
Hello, Regarding Pau d'arco tea, i recommend the wisdom natural brand, it is made from the superior Paraguayan strain of Pau D'arco. (Claimed to be at least 4 times more potent than the Brazilian version). It is the finest i have tasted. The best way to use it, especially if you need a boost to get you through the day is to take up to 2 cups worth of dried tea and add to 2 quarts of water, bring to a very gentle simmer and leave to simmer for 20 minutes. If you can it is great to let it steep for some time after, although not essential. Stick it in your thermos, and off you go a little more ready to meet the world. Guest guest
Hi , Yes, the info sheet I get with the pau d'arco tea says that it is good for cancer. I don't know anyone personally who took it for cancer, but it says some miraculous results have been gotten with it. A couple of the things I attribute to it are almost no headaches for several years, since I started it, and no cough I used to get every winter that would last the entire winter. Guest guest
Hi Jo, I lost a lot of my mail so you probably answered this already. What brand pau de arco tea do you use? I am using something from the health store not sure of the brand, but it is pre packaged in tea bags. Maybe yous is stronger or better if you make it from leaves. I would like to try something a bit more potent and natural in form. Where do you get it? Marei ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Bored stiff? Guest guest
Hi, Pau D'arco is the inner lining of the bark of a most splendid tree. (see attached file.) www.wisdomnaturalbrands.com This link will give you info on where to buy it, however, if you are not in the U.S, like me, i am in England, you can search ebay or google. Take 2 cups full of dried tea, approx a third of a box and brew it up to a light light simmer in 2 quarts of pure water for 20 mins. If you can leave it to steep some as well this is even better. Drink enjoy, feel energised...and maybe pee a lot too. chow for now, Jo ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ It's here! Your new message! Marei, It's easy to find posts that you miss by going to our group website and doing an archived message search. In this instance, you'd go to the group website at: / Click on the " Messages " link on the left...then when you get to the list of messages, just type " Pau D'Arco " into the search box above the message list. It's easy and will help you find what you're looking for. jackie

Guest guest
Mountain rose herbs has some great tea info. Here is what it says about making tea from barks and such... " Decoction = Tea made from bark, roots, seeds, twigs and berries. Put 1-3 tablespoons of cut herb, seed, root, bark, etc into a pot of 16-32 oz of water and allow to sit in non-boiled water for at least 5-10 minutes. Set on stove and bring to a slow boil then turn down to a simmer for 10-30 minutes. Strain and drink. Will keep about 72 hours if kept refrigerated. Most decoctions can also be brewed via single cup through a regular infusion process as noted above but without the strength. Helen ==> " How to make Pau D'Arco Tea using loose bark " · Put 1 heaping tablespoon of tea in a sauce pan and add 1 quart of water. · Simmer on the lowest heat possible for at least half an hour. · Allow the liquid to cool. Strain and pour into a glass jar with a tight sealing lid. · Keep it in the fridge and sip the cooled tea. It may be reheated if you prefer to drink it warm but do not boil it. It keeps for two days. · Drink 4 cups or more per day. Bee

The candida must like that part of my body. Anyway I put coffee in my egg drink and it's realy good. I know it's slowing my healing so I was wondering about puting in the Pau D'arco instead. +++Hi Matt. You might not like the taste of Pau D'Arco in the Egg Drink. You can use Pau D'arco instead of water in your Electrolyte Drink. Also rinse your mouth often with a 50/50 mixture of 3% hydrogen peroxide and non-chlorinated water - do not swallow it - hold it in your mouth 2 minutes, swishing it around well and then spit it out.
