Guest guest
Hi Bee, So I should use hydrogen peroxide to gargle with? Is it dangerous, because in another post you said not to take it. I " m a little confused. The candida must like that part of my body. Anyway I put coffee in my egg drink and it's realy good. I know it's slowing my healing so I was wondering about puting in the Pau D'arco instead. +++Hi Matt. You might not like the taste of Pau D'Arco in the Egg Drink. You can use Pau D'arco instead of water in your Electrolyte Drink. Also rinse your mouth often with a 50/50 mixture of 3% hydrogen peroxide and non-chlorinated water - do not swallow it - hold it in your mouth 2 minutes, swishing it around well and then spit it out. That's because most people don't dilute it accurately nor measure it carefully, so they get too much. My Dad almost did himself IN by thinking " more is better " when he took too much; it made him horribly sick. Bee
Guest guest
> > Does anyone know if pau d'arco tea has caffeine in it???? +++Hi Carole. Pau d'arco doesn't contain caffeine, however most products say they are caffeine-free, which isn't necessary. Bee
Guest guest
No, it does not. Guest guest
Thank you! My boxes of tea don't say anything about the caffeine. My poor little adrenal glands are kind of limping along so I don't want to assault them with anything! Carole > > > > Does anyone know if pau d'arco tea has caffeine in it???? > > +++Hi Carole. I don't recommend any antifungals on my candida program since Candida cannot be cured by " killing it off. " Candida is only cured by building up the immune system, which is done by: 1) Consuming " proper nutrients " (diet plus supplements), 2) Eliminating toxins and foods that feed candida (they also feed bacteria and cancer), 3) Eliminating damaging foods, and 4) Eliminating toxins in general. When the immune system is strong enough it will automatically " make " candida (or any bug, cancer, etc.) change back into the organism it is supposed to be when the body is healthy. Of course I recommend some foods that happen to be antifungal, but only because they provide other health benefits, and not because they are antifungal, like unrefined coconut oil. So please ensure you read two important articles so you know what you need to do and why: How to Successfully Overcome Candida: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php Curing Candida, How to Get Started: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php For encouragement and inspiration see these wonderful Success Stories by members of this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php The best in health, Bee
Guest guest
Hi Missy, Bee took Pau D'Arco off her program a while back, so we don't have to take it anymore. Of course it's not going to hurt you to drink it. Just don't have more than 2 cups a day since teas are diuretic. Guest guest
I myself noticed several benefits from pau d'arco tea while I was taking it. One was that I never had headaches while using it. Another was that a persistent cough I had at the time (and had had for many years) disappeared just a couple days after I started drinking it. As said, you don't have to use it but you could use it if you wish. If you decide to use it and don't notice any benefits from it, you can discontinue it. Guest guest
++ Thanks Zack. I started drinking it a few days ago, and I see a few improvements too from the tea. It seems to have made my digestive tract feel a little better already. Thanks again. Missy >>>>I myself noticed several benefits from pau d'arco tea while I was taking it. One was that I never had headaches while using it. Guest guest
Greetings, I am wondering, is there any reason to drink this tea hot? I know, I must simmer it for 25 minutes, but is there any reason to not let it cool before drinking? Summer is here already, besides I like the taste better when it is cool. I do not add any sweetener to it. -- Bright Blessings, Garth & Kim
Guest guest
Good question and I did not know the answer so I looked up. Drink 1 cup of this tea (hot or cold) anywhere from two to eight times a day. You can also use this decoction, once it has cooled to room temperature, as a topical treatment for fungal skin infections (soak a cloth in the liquid and apply as a compress to the infected areas). You can also use it as a douche or enema solution for the treatment of internal yeast overgrowth. http://www.candida-cure-recipes.com/pau-d-arco-tea.html Vic
