There isn't a doctor to be found that would not recommend the Bladder be removed

because that is the Gold Standard and if he did not, and problems persisted and

got worse he would be subject to legal action and punishment by the

establishment. That being said, it certainly warrants your dealing with people

that know what works and what doesn't. It seems your situation is beyond

experimenting and you need to zero in on something known to work.

thanks..

i guess once it invades the muscle, its much probable to metastasize, and

then..mucho more trouble..chemo, etc to different parts of the body, etc..

BTW, USC is where they pioneered the neobladder, and I have talked to people who

had it,and they say you can do kegel exercises, and have control re urinating ,

etc,and they are happy with it..also the USC doc said that if incontinence is a

problem, now they have a device they put under the skin, and it keeps the urine

iniside you, and then you have a button you can press to pee....so i can be

fairly " normal " .. also he said the surgery is about 8 hours ( 3 doctors will be

on it ).. I'd be in the hospital for 7-8 days, but I could " walk out of the

hospital " ....no need to lay in bed for weeks, etc as in the old days I guess the

old way was to have you drain your bladder with a catheter several times a

day.., but now they an attach the neobladder to the urethra, so you an pee

" normaly " after a couple of weeks ( except for the nightly incontinence some

people have,at least for a while, and since you dont have the nerves of the

bladder, when the neobladdrer is full, you feel more like you have " gas " , than

the need to pee.

I will still do all the alt stuff, since cancer is a sytemic thing.

I am waiting to har back rom davis re the saliva hormone test

I also asked him about just doing a partial cystectomy, but he said the problem

is that this type of cancer 'floats around " , so it can come up very quickly in

another part of the bladder..its not confined to just one area..that seemed to

be true for me because in the first resection they took out tumors on the right

side of the bladder..on the second one they took 2 out from the left side..

Also, with a partial, they may have to still do radiation and chemo!!
