Do you just blend a few with water? I don't use any sweeteners. I do eat the occasional raw pear or apple but I don't like to juice those and eat them whole. I use Ginger all the time but don't know if it would be good with cranberries. Ter

Guest guest
I guess I'm not the only one who can't find anything to drink when I go out! I cut most sugar from my diet several years ago and now with this ulcer I can't drink any caffeine. Most places don't offer anything without caffeine or sugar except tap water which is usually terrible tasting! I wish more restaurants would offer some healthy choices... Betsy [ ] What to drink? Hi group! I never minded drinking water before. When we lived in Waukegan we had bottled water delivered because the city water was so horrible. When we moved here to Connersville, found that the water is so terribly hard that I was building up calcium on my teeth, and the water does taste horrible. In our new house we have a softener and purifier, but I mostly drink bottled water here at home, and take a bottle to work with me. I usually have a cup of coffee in the morning, and that's it. But my dilemma is when we go out. This area is such a Pepsi/Mt. Dew location that it's really hard to find anything acceptable. Last night when we went to the Golden Corral for dinner, I had water (awfull, tinny-tasting stuff!) because there was no other beverage that didn't have aspartame or sugar and was decaffeinated. They didn't even have decaf coffee! When we go out on Wed. night with our bowling group, it's to a small place in town, and I take one of my herbal tea bags with me. At least they don't mind bringing me a pot of hot water. The last time I ordered " sparkling water " at a restaurant, they brought me a very small bottle of plain bottled water, and charged me $3 for it!! One restaurant here in town offers herbal tea and also fruit juice, and I wish more places would follow their lead. And would you believe that in most places around here, milk isn't even offered? OK, off my soap box for now. Time to help Ron un-decorate the house. Tomorrow starts my first full week of work, and our dear church friends have already signed up to fix dinner for & Duane for the next 10 days!! And they are fixing LARGE quantities, so that there's enough for Ron and me too, so we will probably just go eat with the kids when we take TJ home. Have a wonderful Sunday, all! Guest guest
Hi Judi, Slidell, Louisiana has the distinction of having the worst water I have ever tasted. To drink any beverage made out of the water like tea or frozen juices, you had to leave a container of water sitting all night otherwise it was disgusting. The water tasted and smelled horrible due to the sulphur in it. When you took a shower you didn't feel clean because it felt slimy. All of your bathroom fixtures would look like they hadn't been cleaned for years. At the comedy club we go to, a bottle of water is $5. Is the entire world going crazy? Next, we will be able to buy our oxygen in a can instead of having to go outside or to an oxygen bar. LOL. Iris. Guest guest
Hi all--I have tried to baby these gall stones I have and I have suffered with them for close to a year now. I don't drink much soda's- no liquor-and was wondering if there is any suggestions out there that doesn't trigger any attacks and that is healthy? Thanx~
