Guest guest
Greetings, About 2-1/2 years ago I was working in my garden and a heavy rake handle hit me in the chest just above my left breast. I small lump formed and I figured it was just a hematoma. Several months later, after a mammogram, I was told to go get a biopsy. (Sure wish I had known then what I know now; I might not have gotten one.) After the biopsy, the lump started growing and has kept on growing since then. I have tried many different cancer alternative therapies since then but except for a short while with cesium chloride, which quit working, the mass has continued to grow. I don't know if the trauma started this whole chain of events, but I decided to google " trauma induced tumor " and was reading about somastatin In one study titled " Somatostatin Analogs for Diagnosis and Staging of Tumors " by t Dinh M.D. and Milos Janicek M.D., Ph.D. date March 8, 1994, was written " A miscellaneous group of tumors exhibiting somatostatin receptors comprises breast and lung carcinoma. Fifteen percent of breast cancer have showed somatostatin receptors on their surface. " I am wondering if my tumor falls into this group. Does anyone have any experience with this type of tumor, diagnosing it or treatment for it? If so, I would greatly appreciate guidance to some additional sources of information or people I could talk with. Thanks very much, Cheryl
