Hi There: Been scoped three times! Its not bad but is invasive. They cannot no matter what they tell you sterilise that tube. But thats another story. I'm with you this gets very confusing. I have a pace maker in, Barretts Asphagus, and asthma. Any two can kill me, and two acting up together almost shut me down. I'm hearing two schools of thought on Gerd in my Barretts which is acid reflex, gas and lots of pain when it flares causing distress breathing due to pain and gas stopping my diaphram from expanding. Like having two stomachs. Yuk. One school states my acid is too low! The other states my Alkaline is too low. I'm trying all sorts of things like many here. But like you remain confused! Anyone here hear of Dr. s of nutritional healing, in maryland. He claims to have a cocktail to increase acid. Anyone try it? I might to see what that does? But I've got loads of free time so I guess i'll keep researching, the search is half the fun. Getting a final cure though would be better. I've found the meds and everything the VA is saying to do is counter productive to down right going to kill me. I never take anything till I get a full knowledge of what they are prescribing usually causing the same symptoms or worse. I'm on Acidfed for gerd and Albuteral, Atroven inhalers. Comments? Walt Hello all. I just wanted to thank you all for putting up with me and all of my questions. I had my ultra sound as some of you know and it was negative. I just got my results in from my HIDA scan and they are negative for any GB trouble. I am frustrated, my doctor is frustrated, and I am still in pain. 2 more symptoms have come about. I have pain in my back, the right side middle almost on my side, and having pain when and before I urinate. This is going on with pain still in my upper right side under my ribs, and ohhh lord help me the diarrhea, (I am tired of it). My next test is to put a scope down my throat and look around. Thanks again for all of your insight. Beth
Guest guest
Beth, You might want to try muscle testing with a homeopath. This is completely non-invasive and might shed some light on your problems. It helped me. It couldn't hurt. G. <<My next test is to put a scope down my throat and look around. It is an avenue you have to try if you haven't already along with other good nutritional things. Have the doctors considered your kidneys since you have pain when urinating? I don't recall. I usually take an herbal combination when my kidneys are bothering me or there is a chance of infection. Diarrhea can be caused by a lot of things besides GB trouble, ie. open illeocecal valve. Is it tender when you lay on back and gently press of abdomen to right of and a couple inches down from belly button near right pelvic bone? You may have to feel around. If so, you may have open or closed valve causing trouble. Chiropractic adjustments can help with that as well as diet. Maybe you need to consider a diet like the Candida Control type? I am not sure, but these are things that pop into my mind when I read your descriptions. I, too, deal with digestive troubles, even when the GB is clean, related to stress...guess they would call it Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Can be fine when there isn't a lot of stress, but a negative phone call or whatever can set it right off. So there are so many things that can contribute to digestive troubles. L. Guest guest
Yep, Irritable Bowel Syndrome is where my Doc has gone back to. It's what was talked about when I first went in with my problem, but once he mashed around on my tummy, he said 'bingo! gallbladder'. All I know is I am tired of not feeling good. I am somewhat glad that my GB is in good health, but at the same time I wish it was that easy to figure out the problem. My diet has totally changed. I can not eat fatty foods. It hurts my side too badly. I eat fruits, veggies, white rice, chicken and fish...nothing else. I walk 2-2 1/2 miles daily...now it's only 2x a week because I have no energy to do it anymore. *sighhhhh* God willing, he will heal me inside and out! Good Night all > > > > > Hello all. Guest guest
Well it sounds like you are doing a lot for yourself, wish I had more ideas for you...are you taking a good natural multi-vitamin to make up for nutrients you may not be getting in a restricted diet (not to mention what is missing in foods today and what get cooked out of it.) Maybe you need to find a good nutritionist. Wish you were closer. Take care, L. Guest guest
Hi Beth, First, what is a HIDA scan? I'm not sure if stones can be seen in the liver from ultra sound. I have had my gallbladder out now for 5 years. I have continued to suffer from gall bladder attack symptoms. But there is no signs of stones, yet I have had an attack and a short time later passed a fairly large stone from my liver. Do you think it may be hiding there and just not visible. glenda marinershoney01 wrote: > Hello all.
