What stage was she diagnosed at? Bone cancer is often slow moving and very

painful. There is no cure for cancer, but, I know many women with bone

metastases from breast cancer who live many, many years by using the treatments

available. Radiation is often the only thing needed based on how extensive the

mets are.

As to alternative medicine, it sounds to me as if your mother is depressed. The

cancer and pain can be causing that. Have a very frank talk with her about how

she is feeling. You will not get her to change her diet if she is depressed.

Bottom line though, you cannot force someone to do any treatment they don't want

to do.

You can't help someone who doesn't want help.My mom was dying of cancer and

refused to use an alternative device with a history of reversing cancer. But I

believed she was done with this world and wanted to move on, which is OK. This

world isn't all there is you know.

Unfortunately you can't. It is a very private decision. I got my mom taking some

stuff but I am not sure if it is too late to help. Time will tell.
