I have always accepted the theory, never proving it however, that the body uses

minerals derived from greens to balance out the acidity of certain fruits. If

not sufficient then what choice would the body have but to provide these

minerals from its stores? Most likely our bones. It just doesn't seem the

body would accept our use of acidic foods without attempting to neutralize them.

I have no scientific training and like most of us, read a lot.

It made sense to me when I read this over 50 years ago and old doesn't always

mean wrong. Eat your greens.

Dear Joe,

have you ever heard about oil pulling? whenever I feel acidic I do oil pulling,

it's good for mouth and stomach, also detoxifying. Worth to try. Pls google

about it when you are interested. I did do it every morning and in result I

have white teeth, fresh healthy breath, no acidity and burning. If you do it

2-3 times a day, will loose some weight too. Worth trying. cheers. lucy
