Guest guest
Hi, I am new and have a friend who has been diagnosed with lung cancer. As far as I know it is very small, so I am guessing it is stage one. But, the only options the Drs gave her were chemo. She did a little research and found a Dr who is willing to thy a more natural approach. She has been following his suggestion for about a year and at one point things looked better, but the last ct scan showed the spots a little enlarged. She will be getting a pet scan soon to see what that says. She is doing research on her on and I am also trying to see what is available as a natural approach to dealing with lung cancer. Does anyone have any suggests on where to start looking? Has anyone on here had luck with natural cures for lung cancer? She is doing a lot with the immune system, eating raw veggies, and doing a lot of juicing. Lots of supplements. Not sure what they are as she is doing a lot. My Mother also has ovarian cancer, and hers was advanced and she is doing the chemo. I would like to get her interested in supplements and building the immune system, but she is not big on doing much more than what the Drs recommend. But, occasionally I pass on any info I get that I think she might be open to trying. Are there any basics that everyone starts with when diagnosed with cancer? Where are the best sources of info? Thanks, Susie
