Refined sugar is a drug and a poison

Glucose is a sugar found usually with other sugars, in fruits and vegetables.

Its a key material in the metablosim of all plants and animals.

Dextrose, derived synthetically from starch, also called corn sugar

fructose is a sugar fruit

Maltose is a malt sugar

Lactose is a milk sugar

Sucrose is refined sugar is refined from the sugar cane and sugar beet.

what is left consists of pure, refined carbohydrates. The body cannot utilize

the refined starch and carbohydrate unless the depleted proteins, vitiamins and

minerals are present. Nature supplies these elements in each plant in quantities

sufficient to metabolize the carbohydrate in that particular plant.

Most of this information I got from the book the Sugar blues by Dufty.

Its a excellent book and one I highly recommend. Its been over three years since

I have consumed any refined sugar. Yes I am a former sugar addict like most in

the world today. I remember well the shakes, headaches etc when I gave it up,

but it only lasted a few days and after I came out of the FOG. The world would

be a much better place without refined sugar in it. I know for me, my energy

levels are much higher. Havent had one head ache, or pain in the three years

since I have changed my diet. Of course I also gave up booze, all refined foods,

all aniaml protein, wheat, glutin, at the same time. My cravings stopped for me

after a few short months.

Eat to live, don't live to eat,

Mike M.

P.S I do use stevia, honey and xylitol as sweeters. but try to limit even those

as much as possible
