Guest guest
How old is your mom? What they know about cancer survivors is they had to have a reason to live. You can't give this to her, it must come from inside. Try and find out IF she wants to survive this or if she doesn't. IF she does, try and figure out WHY...nurture the why for her. Say for example, if she said I want to survive to see my grandkids grow up..then bring the grandkids around as often as you can...understand? there are no absolutes with any dis-ease. Love her right where she is and now is the time to open up and say what you need to say to her. Louise Hay's book Heal Your Body, says the " probable cause " for cancer is: Deep hurt. Longstanding resentment. Deep secret or grief eating away at the self. Carrying hatreds. " What's the use? " The " New Thought Pattern " is: I lovingly forgive and release all of the past. I choose to fill my world with joy. I love and approve of myself. I would write this off on a note card and stick it to YOUR fridge. She may not believe this to be true for her. But you can say the affirmation with your mother in mind...energy flows where your thoughts go :-) Hope this helps. ~Amy~ I believe it takes a body, mind, spirit approach to heal. > > On her birthday (April 23, 2008) she was diagnosed with lung cancer, not long after the PET scan showed hot spots in her liver and colon. After a liver laporoscopy (spelling?) the doc told me he saw a large tumor growing on her colon and in the small intestines, said he was going to cut it all out (170 centimeters). We found out it was all squamous cell, probably from the lung. Now she cannot eat anything without running to the bathroom. She was 125 lbs on her birthday, and seemed as healthy as me. now she is 102lbs, not eating, sleeping all day and planning her funeral... Guest guest
Greetings: The anxiety that goes with it all. They are still working on the nature of a few nodules found at the " cardiophrenic angle " of my left lung. I have found a good resource that may be of interest. It is located at: http://www.canceradvancedcenter.net I hope this helps one and all. Cheers, Tom Bruce
