Mike:

You could possibly face a brick wall in that your friend, unless he has a basic

knowledge of Alternative protocols is simply going to listen to the people in

the White Coat that apparently already have his ear. Many people, even when

the physician tells them about 'Watchful waiting " , simply want to 'get rid of

that cancer/ thinking that by removing it, it is gone.

Perhaps you can encourage him to ask his Urologist whether or not Watchful

Waiting at his age might not be be a wise approach. Ask him to have the

Urologist give him the grade/stage so he can make a wise decision. Have him

ask the Urologist whether or not at 75, he ought to see what things look like in

three months, whether or not there is an aggressive increase in his PSA. In

other words, maybe he can sound intelligent and not just another statistic.

Failing this approach, your friend is going to go the way most do and that is,

radiation/surgery and who knows in what order?

Have your friend, explore the different approaches conventional medicine

approaches Prostate cancer if it is Aggressive. If the cancer is contained,

there is a good likelihood that it can remain that way so why undergo heroic

efforts aimed at something that would not kill him. A lot depends upon the

immediate severity because if I did not know anything about Alternative

treatments, I would be sitting on every word the doctor says...........isn't

that the usual course? To sum it up, you first have to sidetrack the conveyor

belt your friend is on..............from diagnosis to heroic treatment and on to

oblivion, but obviously not in all cases because if the cancer would not have

killed him anyway, the Allopathic physicians will take credit for keeping him

alive.

Good luck,

Joe C.

HI Gang,

I have a good friend who was just dianozed with Prostate Cancer. Hes in good

shape 75 with his psa around 5. The want to start radiation next week and I

would like to talk to him to discuss some alternative treatments. From what I

understand only a small % with prostate cancer his age will die from old age

before the cancer. I don't have all the details but would love to offer him some

suggestions before he faces the radiation gun. Looking forward to any help as

always.

All the best,

Mike

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the info yes I realize I am working against a system that he most

likely will follow. I at first was hesitant to say anything but as a Friend I

feel I must least try. I had another friend who just passed away after a few

rounds of chemo and radiation. She started on alternative but her well meaning

friends convinced her to do conventional. Cancer center of America said we can't

cure her but must start on chemo and radiation right away. ( what they meant is

she had good insurance and must get in 50 grand of treatments while they can).

She died a horid death as the radiation burned her throat so she was on a

feeding tube her last 90 days. I made up my mind from that point on I would

least offer up alternative views. Granted most goes on to deaf ears, but I know

I did all I could.

All the best,

Mike

Joe's advice is sound. For a person who is not familiar with the problems of

allopaty (or alternative protocols) is it very hard to go against the advice of

a white coat, especially if he gets the same advice from different docs.

Tell your friend this: the PSA took 75 years to go to 5.00 it will go nowhere in

the next weeks. The fact that the uro doesn't think so should raise a very

strong suspicion that his interest in executing the procedure ranks higher than

defending the best interest of his patient.

Tell him to go to letstalkhealth and buy a bottle of Prostasolve for 80.00 bucks

or so and let him ask them how many caps they think he should take with his

level of PSA. Probably 2 a day for 2 weeks and then 1 per week or whatever. His

PSA will fall to lower than 1.00 - It's not a cure but it will give him peace of

mind. He then has months, not weeks, to gather information and form an opinion.

There are many self help groups dealing with PCa. Tell him it is

HIM who must chart a course, not a doc he doesn't know

Hi Mike,

>friend who was just dianozed with Prostate Cancer [PC]

I personal wouldn't get radiation (or any conventional treatment) for PC.

My 1st choice of treatments for prostate cancer (PC) would be (particularly

CAPITALIZED items):

www.letstalkhealth.com/Prostasolve-p/486.htm

Ellagic Insurance Formula [www.ellagic-acid.org]

RESVERATROL

curcumin

vit. D3

hyperthermia

2nd choices:

FLAXSEED OIL mixed w/COTTAGE CHEESE (FSO/CC), and TOMATOES and TOMATO PRODUCTS,

ginger, maitake, CoQ10 (I’d work up to 500mg)

Other things that are particularly effective for PC: garlic, capsaicin; vits.

B6 (600mg), & E (alpha tocopherol succinate & gamma-tocotrienol); I3C/DIM, CDG,

sandalwood essential oil, nettle ROOT, ashwagandha, Chinese skullcap,

artemisinin, celandine, MCP

(pectin), lycopene, grapeseed, milk thistle, rabdosia, licorice, boswelia,

nettles, pygeum, red clover, parthenolide/feverfew, betulinic acid, GLA,

EPA/fish & cod liver oils, zinc, zeolite, whey, broccoli sprouts, fermented soy,

COX-2 inhibitors; hyperthermia; vaccines (mycoplasma, allergostop, Springer,

dendritic cell); GcMaf
