I don't care for SubQ also I like shooting into my thigh but I use a small 27g x

1/2 " lg. needle my levels are great doing this.

guys who have tried injecting both ways feel about one way or the other?

I know I greatly prefer subQ just because it does no even sting at all,

but regardless of pain at injection, I think I get a better result with

how strong and well I feel by injecting in my thighs. Comments?

I suggested subQ to my doctor and he said he would look into it. He kind of gave

me the impression he was uncertain that this is an effective method.

I certainly can not speak with authority in the matter but most of us do know

that the injectable testosterone is oil based intended for a slow time release.

That having been said, it would seem questionable to use injectable

testosterone other than deep intra muscular. But I've heard some are enjoying

success doing subQ. I'm sticking with deep IM.

My feelings and labs show subq to be as effective for me as im,

however subq did not mitigate E2 as was intended. I was already doing

im every three days before switching to subq.

Dave I found the same thing so it's more about doing shots every 3 days when I

tried subQ I did not like it stings me and hurts for an hour. I found my E2 was

much better doing shots every 3 days. Be it subQ or IM.

Hey Phil,

I'm going to try the T injections subQ. I'll be using a 30ga x 1/2 "

needle in the thigh. If you're using the same length needle,

wouldn't that be subQ? I thought you would need a longer needle to

inject IM, like 1 " . I inject Novarel in the thigh now, using the

30ga x 1/2 " and I assume its subQ. I would think it would hurt if it

was going into the muscle, which it doesn't. I could be wrong? What

I'm trying to understand is if you are saying you're injecting your

T, IM with a 1/2 " long needle? Dan

I have tried

SubQ in my belly for the past three weeks now, and I feel

Ok I get this a lot at other boards they try to tell me I am shooting SubQ but

SubQ is when you pinch up the skin and hold it and shoot into the pinched up

skin. I use 27g x 1/2 because it pulls the T out of the vile faster still takes

about a min. I then shoot into my thigh picking a different spot off the top to

the outside of my thigh into the muscle. There may be times with I shoot up

high near my hip that it is not going into the muscle. But my labs are always

good and I have been at this for over 2 yrs.
