Guest guest
I had a bad case of insomnia for years and was told as you get older your sleep pattern changes.Well I had low T and everything that going along with it. Well I've been on TRT for over a year now and with a better diet and working out 3 days a week, I'm sleeping like a baby. If I do have have problem falling asleep I take melatonin and it helps me. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs. — Jefferson, 1802
Guest guest
Quite the opposite in my case. When I had low T, I could sleep 10 hours, then find myself dozing in front of the TV 8 hours after I got up. That was the major complaint that lead my internist to check my T level. It was 150. Shortly after starting Testosterone Cypionate injections. I was ready to get up two hours earlier and full of energy. No more naps needed. > > Anybody out there that had insomnia with low t and see improvements with trt? >

Guest guest
I've heard over & over that TRT helps with insomnia. I'll even testify that it does. I know it helped with my sleep and I don't feel like I was in a boxing match when I get up in the mornings. I used to get up tired and feel beat up when I got up, but now I feel 10 times better. nvestnyuth From: clayphilpot <clayphilpot@...> Subject: trt improve sleep? Guest guest
mine is like I wont stay asleep more than 2 hrs straight. so you had it before starting trt and it got better? I have tried just about every sleeping pill with no luck so thats why I am thinking hopefully its low T related. . From: clayphilpot <clayphilpot> Subject: trt improve sleep? Guest guest
My experience with TRT is that it causes insomnia. For the first 9 weeks of the Nebido cycle I very rarely sleep longer than 2 hours or so. Quite often I can be awake for up to 72 hours straight unless I use some kind of medication to knock me out. My current GP's surgery has a Zero Tolerance policy on sleeping tabs, so he won't prescribe them to me. I have a friend who is prescribed Largactyl for her Manic Depression. She gave me a blister pack of 12. While I don't like self-medicating if I have been awake for more than 48 hours I will take one of these. It literally knocks me out for around 16 hours, unfortuneately it lingers throughout the following day. My previous GP prescribed a sleeping tab called Stilnoct. These are excellent. You don't take it until you are actually in bed. 10 minutes afterwards you are sound asleep and awake refreshed with no hangover some 6 to 8 hours later. Having Klinefelters means that I have Chronic Fatigue and therefore I am tired 24/7. My current GP is happy to prescribe other drugs that will make me drowsy. I don't need a drug that makes me drowsy I have lots of them already, I need a drug that knocks me out. Throughout the latter 3 weeks of the Nebido cycle I have the opposite problem, I can't stay awake for more than 2 - 3 hours. Take yesterday for example. I went to bed at 4pm and awoke at midnight. I was back in bed at 2am and awoke at 5am. That was almost 2 hours ago and now I am going back to bed for another couple of hours. I have to see a Physiotherapist at 11am this morning so have to up again around 9. Try your GP for Stilnoct. Personally I think it's the best sleeping tab on the market.
