Guest guest
Hi. In reply to application of T to genitals: I go to an anti aging clinic in WA state. They prescribe T cream which is compounded at a local pharmacy. Instructions for use are to apply to 1) inner thighs, 2) scrotum and 3) genitals. But those are listed as three levels of application. I was applying to thighs and scrotum at one point when doctor thought T levels as indicated in labs was getting too high, so I was asked to stop applying to scrotum, and to apply to thighs only. Now I am back on application to thighs, scrotum and genitals (meaning penis) at doctors direction. Direct application to scrotum and penis definitely increases the immediate effect of the T, both physiologically and emotionally. Testosterone gel - scrotum application Hi folks, I was wondering if anyone had ever tried applying Testosterone (or DHT) gel to their scrotum/penis as I have read application to the scrotum is up to 40 times more potent than elsewhere in the body - as mentioned in this study posted on you tube (5 parts)- link: http://www.youtube. com/watch? v=961NuUlC_ RI & feature= related This effect if apparently due to the increased androgen receptors in this area. However, the manufacturers all say not to apply TRT gel/cream to this area but does anyone know why not to apply to this area?? I would assume it is to prevent DHT levels being too high and therefore affecting the prostate and hence possible prostate cancer issues and/or possible priapism - but thats just my guess. Also when doing google search on Testosterone and more so DHT cream + application to phallus/scrotum numerous studies appear supporting this use to increase penis size - noteably for prepubescent males. Link to just one of these studies: http://www.pubmedce ntral.nih. gov/articlerende r.fcgi?artid= 1793798 There are also similar studies supporting phallus growth (but to much lesser extent) with use of DHT cream in adults over period of few months. Whether any studies have been done on hypogonadyl men in particular I'm not sure. I would be interested in hearing anyone else's view on this - in particular the safety of TRT gel application to scrotum area? and whether or not anyone knows of any evidence supporting the fact that androgen receptor levels are higher in hypogonadyl men compared to non-hypogonadyl adult? men as I notice on few other forum's many guys have claimed to have done this but the benefits/risks remain a bit of a mystery. Guest guest
I`ve tried application at different sites, and penis and scrotum have up and down sides. I don't believe for a second that this will make me longer, bigger, stronger in any way from a phalic point of view. I can see this having an effect on delayed pubecense but I don't think that there is much to be done once you have achieved full development. There is enough malarchy out there on the subject, you be your own judge, but if growth has finished, I somehow don't think you will get much change. It does however seem to absorb better from the penis and scrotum, and it is easier for me to shave my upper thighs than to keep my chest shaved. Not to mention that putting gel on my upper thighs makes it easier to reduce incidental contact with my GF. Putting it on the genitals means I should however make certain to wash or shower before sex. If you do choose to put some there, I hope that you do not also shave or trim too much, as these gels are highly alcohol based. It's a little like soaking your face in rubbing alcohol right after shaving, except that the burning feeling can last 30 to 60 minutes and sometimes longer. I would suggest being very careful in this respect. I would also suggest that you get some labs done after trying it for a week or two just to make certain you are not overdoing it. If the absorbtion is better, you might want to use a little less than normal. The goal after all is stable acceptable numbers in the upper third of the range, not three times normal juiced up body builder numbers... Good luck and play safe :-) Randy > > Hi. Guest guest
Hi Randy Some good info - thanks. I personally would not put gel on scrotum area just because of he fear factor with prostate cancer issues but have no doubt the absorption is better due to higher androgen levels. some guys so claim to have some increase in phallus when applying cream there over period of few months but I doubt this myself. Think creams would appear better than gels anyway due to lesser amount needed but don't know of any creams (excluding creams from compounding pharmacies) on the market yet - macrochem cream at link below looks promising http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl? Guest guest
Hi must say very supriseed this was instructions as prescribed (maybe anti-ging clinics are less prudent than GPs - no doubt) as not heard of that being the case before through other forums but loads of guys seem to at least try applying gels to scrotum. Not suprised either your levels were too high to begin with since supposedly meant to be up to 40 times more androgen receptors in this area. Also I would probably not apply to that area in case of contact during sex unless of course you shower before having sex. > > Hi. Guest guest
Andromen is a testosterone cream that is made and marketed in Austrialia. I down loaded the patient information and it specifically states to measure out the proper amount of cream and apply the cream to the srotum. I have not tried this medication, so I have no idea of the long term results of putting T gel or cream on your scrotum. I do know from personal experience that androgel should not be put on the scrotum--it burns!!! Your mileage may vary
Guest guest
Look guys testosterone will not cause cancer it's when you have a type of cancer that using testosterone will make it worse. As for putting gels, creams or any kind of testosterone on your testis or boys it will drive up your DHT 3 to 4x's above the normal range. This can make your prostate act up. It's not a good Idea to put meds on your boys. Years ago when the patch came out the one you put on your testis that did not go over so big. It was all ways falling off. Still the ones that kept using it ended up with very high DHT levels. Guest guest
And some of us did this anyway what was left on our hands we put on the testis and it did not burn just felt worm. But later on it drove up the DHT to above 3 to 4 x's the top of the range not good. Guest guest
I started out with gel, and I put some on my upper thigh, but had the misfortune of having my penis flop into some of the gel. Man, that stuff gave me a burn. This was a generic gel, but I wouldn't wish a burn like that on anyone. It raised a blister! I would keep that stuff definitely out of reach of the glans. > > > > Hi.
