Guest guest Posted October 10, 2002 Report Share Posted October 10, 2002 WENT TO SEE THE SERGUN TODAY AND ASKED ABOUT THE DIFFERENT TREATMENTS ..AND THE ONLY REPLY IS " WE DONT DO THAT KIND OF TREATMENT " 1. NO ORAL CHOLECYSTOGRAM(OCG) 2. NO EPRC TEST 3. NO ORAL DESOLUTION DRUGS WOULD NOT EVEN TALK ABOUT IT TO ME.. JUST KEPT SAYING WE CAN GET YOU IN TODAY AT 3PM this was at 10:30 am i told him i was scared of the sergury and wanted to see more tests done before i go through it but he brushed me off ... the only test that was done was a gp sonogram witch i didn't see the results and was told that is for medical staff only. the whole soctor visit was put this gown on ...waight 15 min in a cold room........ put the stethascope on and listend to lungs,heart,and just below the ribs on the right half of my stomach... no its got to come out.. the only thing he offerd me was a watch and waight...told me that is would prob flair up in the middle of some night ..and if it does then the only resort they have is full open removal... does this sound like fair treatment to you guys/gals please help with feed back daniel hudsonvalley ny wiz706ford@... Look at this site for a general idea of tests that can be done. http://www.laparoscopy.com/pleatman/gallblad.htm Bear in mind that this site is a surgeon's site. Also, not every medical center has the availability of all the tests or methods of treatment. Some do not have the specialized eqiupment or funds for all procedures.
