Guest guest
There is a relationship between Testosterone and the Thyroid yes. The Thyroid can affect Testosterone production negatively. I have an article on it somewhere..I'll try to find it. I hope this helps Nick Nick O'Hara Author, The Testosterone Deficiency Centre (www.androids.org.uk) Associate Editor The Testicular Cancer Resource Center (tcrc.acor.org) From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of retrogrouch@... Is there any relationship between T and parathyroid hormones? I've googled a round a bit and I'm not finding much. Thanks.

Guest guest
He is talking about " parathyroid " that is not the same as Thyroid. They are four separate glands in the neck that I believe control calcium. he *parathyroid glands* are small endocrine<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endocrine_system> glands <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gland> in the neck that produce parathyroid hormone <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parathyroid_hormone>. Humans have four parathyroid glands, which are usually located behind the thyroid gland<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thyroid_gland>, and, in rare cases, within the thyroid<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thyroid>gland or in the chest. Parathyroid glands control the amount of calcium in the blood and within the bones. I don't know of any correlation between parathyroid and Hypogonadism. This is parathyroid. Which is different from the thyroid proper. The parathyroids are four small endocrine glands nestled into the larger thyroid. It seems to play a huge role in calcium chemistry as well as lot of other things.
