I think Dr J and others do a great job, but they do not look at the person as whole from a mind, body ,spirit approach. Treating with hormones as I have found may not be the cure all that one may need, but combination of lifestyle, sleep hygiene, past emotional trama, nutrient balance are all important if not more important then HRT. Many people that I get have had perfect hormone levels and still feel like crap because the underlying issue was really never addressed but just masked. Guest guest
You stress a good point but most of the men here are dam sick and I hate to get them into suing a Dr. it's a lose lose thing and all it does is stress one out. I seen a lawyer he told me I did not have to pay him unless I win I ended up with court costs and filing fees cost me a lot of money I did not have at the time I was off work on Sick leave. I did sue the Co. I worked for they locked me out of work when I was coming back from sick leave. I was a union Engineer at Chry. even sued the Union I went to the EEOC they went after them for discrimination on the sick. Still I was told to settle out of court and I did best thing I ever did but do you think this stopped them from doing this to other sick workers no they keep doing it. Guest guest
Agreed. However, the medical board and the doctors who belong to it are not bound to new studies as " standards " dictating how they should treat patients. Some docs may honor the findings of a study, some may be conservative and choose to wait until there is consensus behind an issue. My point was that threatening to report someone to the medical board for something that does not constitute malpractice in order to avoid the TRT " washout " baseline is not a good idea. There are better ways to accomplish the same thing. If it works for someone, then more power to you. ~Xian > > > > > > Norton, why ask why? Who care what his answer is? Tell him I am NOT going off of it, and if you REFUSE to continue my treatment I WILL report you to the State Medical Board. Have him explain to the State medical board why he thinks this is a good idea. ly, this might be a good thing to get some current knowledge out there. Won't it be nice of all doctors in the state received a letter from the board waring them NOT to withhold treatment from hypogonodal men? At the very least your case will be talked about at the next medical conference. > > > > > > Why are we letting these doctors control our very lives when we know better? > > >
