Guest guest
Anyone who has not gone through this website, really should find the time to do so. , this is great research. I have forwarded the link to a scientist at McGill University who is also studying EPA/DHA with mice and he is going to contact the researchers at UFA Challenge. He's going to Germany as well to discuss Omega 3's there as well. I just may try this but I think it's best if you had stomach, lung or kidney cancer. Seems it works really well on liver cancer too....except the exercise part would be difficult....Louise > www.ufachallenge.org <http://www.ufachallenge.org> for details; > username is " membrane " , password is " effect. Guest guest
I must be missing something. I read the article but no where did I see an exact protocol to be followed. When you say " I may try this " can you please explain exactly what you are going to try. You say it would be best with stomach, lung, or kidney cancer. My husband has lung cancer so I am interested in a better understanding of what the protocol to be followed is. Guest guest
There are links at the top of the page. Â Or you can click at the bottom of each page which will take you to the next page and eventually the protocol: Â Ingestion of high doses of flaxseed, caffeine and 90 minutes exercise, for 3 days, fasting the whole time. Â It's all spelled out in the links. Â There are about 5 or so pages there and one of them even have some of the results of the tests. Â It may not " cure " me but even if it spikes the omega 3's and then I keep them there that would be fine with me. Guest guest
Research " blackfoot disease Taiwan + fulvic acid " . In another group, Bruce an outstanding member, supplied us info to be cautious about fulvic acid. Try and visit this website: Is Humic Acid is Associated with " Blackfoot Disease? " The following is known about the Blackfoot disease at present: it is endemic to .... fulvic acids everywhere, but the Blackfoot disease was reported only in Taiwan. ... www.humichealth.info/blackfoot.html - Cached > > > www.ufachallenge. org <http://www.ufachall enge.org> for details; > > > username is " membrane " , password is " effect. Guest guest
Thanks, Louise. Feel free to forward my email address directly to the scientist at McGill (davids@... <mailto:davids@...> ) - I have been in touch with others in the field over the years. Tests on fresh human cancer tissue using an advanced assay system have found complete tumor kill of every cancer type tested - ovarian, breast, melanoma, glioblastoma, and pancreatic cancers (at a high concentration of unsaturated fatty acid agent). But it seems that a high-dose oral regimen would be more likely to be effective for cancers in the intestinal or peritoneal region, since lymphatic transport and first-pass absorption of fats could make serum levels of the active agents higher in those anatomical regions. I agree with you about liver cancer being perhaps most likely to respond to this regimen, as I was in close touch in the mid-1990s with one ovarian cancer patient who had a liver metastasis that was being closely tracked by scans. Back then, when new results on ALA anticancer effects were first coming in, before a method to acheive the high blood levels of active agents was known, she was among the patients who tried drinking 8 oz or so of flaxseed or other oils daily for 3-5 days. Her liver metastasis disappeared at the next scan, while tumors elsewhere in her body remained. This wasn't a clearcut result, as she was taking other standard and complementary treatments around that time, but her oncologist was insistent that no of her standard treatments could have caused this outcome. The UFA regimen being tested, however, would achieve high enough levels of active agents theoretically to kill tumor anywhere in the body. It may be possible to skip the exercise component with a longer fast period (about 12 hours) and more caffeine and still achieve efficacy. - > > Anyone who has not gone through this website, really should find the time to do so. , this is great research. Guest guest
HI Nili - The protocol is detailed in the fourth tab, " UFA Regimen, " in www.ufachallenge.org <http://www.ufachallenge.org> (username " membrane " , password " effect " ). Basically, it consists of consumption of about 8 oz of flaxseed oil in the morning, after an overnight fast, followed by caffeine, a 90-minute period of exercise, and continued fasting until late afternoon. The active anticancer agent (alpha-linolenic acid, or ALA) is contained in the flaxseed oil. The fasting, exercise and caffeine are used as they are potent in converting the usual inert, albumin-bound form of fatty acids into the unbound, active form. It is the latter form that diffuses through the capillary walls into tumors, in particular, the tumor cell membrane. The regimen is designed to achieve the very high levels of ALA in blood that were found to totally kill fresh human tumor tissue in an advanced, clinically predictive assay. Please read carefully the caveats and cautions on the web site. This is an investigational regimen based on promising new findings from a niche field of science that happen to be doable by any patient using off-the-shelf dietary agents. (And, of course, there is no commercial interests involved whatever - the agents cost $20 in the health food store or grocery store.) There is no guarantee of either efficacy or safety, even though the dietary agents have been never known to have any adverse effects at any dose. Based upon the experience of the first patient with metastatic melanoma near the lung (no adverse effects whatever, but no indication of response - she was told death was imminent, however, in December, and is alive and about today), it may be advisable to try it with certain tweaks that could significantly enhance efficacy, and hopefully achieve the " home run " tumor kill effect desired. - > > www.ufachallenge.org <http://www.ufachallenge.org> for details; > > username is " membrane " , password is " effect.
