Guest guest
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< I wonder if anyone has asked the question as to why your body produces cholesterol? Jim >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jim; We need it!!! The brain is 2/3rds cholesterol, and it's needed for good cellular structure, without it we die. The problem lies in not getting it in the right proportions of High Density Lipoproteins and Low Density lipoproteins. This is why a good diet is so important and an understanding of just what is happening with the foods we do eat. We in the developed countries tend to have too much fat in our diets and because of that there is an over abundance of LDL cholesterol produced and that then leads to a precipitation of it from the bile produced to breakdown fats. Seems odd, doesn't it? The fat breaks down the fat. Well, gasoline breaks down oils and grease and it's much the same with bile. However if the bile is more like an oil it's pretty hard for it to breakdown a grease or an oil properly. Consider a quality bile like a quality dish detergent. Dish detergents help to emulsify the fats and hold them in suspension in water, which is normally going to be having the oily fats staying on the top of the water is no soap is used. However, if the fat load is too great for the amount of emulsifier, i.e. soap, used fats will precipitate on the walls of the sink. This is the same thing that happens with bile and cholesterol. Is cholesterol a protection our body produces to protect inner body parts such as veins? When we are to acidic, do we produce cholesterol which may be designed to coat our veins to protect them from thinning and tearing apart. All the stuff I am reading on body PH is VERY interesting. Is anyone reading their body PH? This morning, mine was 6.8 which means I am on the acid side of being right. And this also means I am a candidate of having high cholesterol levels....which I do. I am told to get my PH level up where it should be and the cholesterol problems will likely go away along with multitudes of other health issues.....like gallstones. Guest guest
With what/how do you read your body PH? What should it be and why? Never heard of this. M

I have a brochure, " pH Balancing Simplified " and a few strips if you are interested. The booklet is about 15 pages, would appreciate a couple stamps or SASE if you would like a booklet and a few test strips. You can write me at claudiameydrech@... so as not to use list for this. 6.0-7.0 is a generally good range for pH. L.
