As you know, we aren't doctors here. With any symptom that is not normal

for you, we always recommend that you see your doctor and discuss it with

him/her. It could be a number of things from low blood pressure to a middle

ear infection. Safest thing for you is to get your doctor to check it out

thoroughly.

Totally agree with what anne said. This definately is something that you should talk about with your doctor. Love Janetanne <kanga2@...> wrote: ,As you know, we aren't doctors here. Thanks. I'll do that. I just wondered if it was a common symptom of Hep C.

Hi I will agree with everyone here in that you should talk with your doc,, you might have something as easy as a middle ear infection or a collection of fluids in there or you might have low blood pressure,, OR it might be something else.. When did you finish tx? Did you get anemic on tx? You might still be anemic and need some procrit,, so your doc will want to check for that and see what your labs show... let us know what you find out,, ok? jaxmidnighthourblues <midnighthourblues@...> wrote: Almost every day I get a little lightheadedness. Yeah. Me, too. I was lightheaded for some time, and they thought it was my heart. After about 6 months, they found it was a left-branch block bundle. Gives a whole different set of symptoms, but not really much danger at all. It's good to know, though. So, I'm glad you are going to the doctor.

, Could be a number of things. This morning I am a little lightheaded my self. But it is 12:30 pm and I have had nothing to eat but two cups of coffee. I think it is time for a bowl of cereal. LOL Have your sugar checked also. And keep us informed . It could be something we all can use in the future. Can you tell me more about the left branch block bundle? My dh is told he has a problem there. Sharonharlequinade3315@... wrote: doc_jade@... writes: Could be a number of things. Kind of hard to describe it on paper without drawing it, but you can google it and learn a lot of things. Basically, there are two main arteries, a right and a left one. They are supposed to beat in rhythm, but in this case, the left artery is just a tiny bit off. This causes problems because the Right Side doesn't quite know what to do with this information. So, it will do silly things, like making you dizzy, or, as it did me once, make me think I was having a heart attack. It can do all kinds of ditzy things. Mostly they are not a problem--but this would be between your husband and your doctor. I am already impressed with your doctor because I had to go to one of best specialists in town before they figured out what was causing the problems. Incidentally, that misinformation that the right side figures out by itself assures the doctor that NO cardiogram will be accurate from here on out. The worst thing that might happen would be that they might put a in pacemaker to make them beat at the same time.

If you google this, You can find all kinds of pictures. It was very helpful to me, and my mind works (when it feels like it) slower than it did.

Hope this helps,

Dar

What causes bundle branch block?

For the left and right ventricles to contract at the same time, an electrical impulse must travel down the right and left bundle branches at the same speed. If there is a block in one of these branches, the electrical impulse must travel to the ventricle by a different route. When this happens, the rate and rhythm of your heartbeat are not affected, but the impulse is slowed. Your ventricle will still contract, but it will take longer because of the slowed impulse. This slowed impulse causes one ventricle to contract a fraction of a second slower than the other.

The medical terms for bundle branch block are derived from which branch is affected. If the block is located in the right bundle branch, it is called right bundle branch block. If the block is located in the left bundle branch, it is called left bundle branch block.

The block can be caused by coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathy, or valve disease. Right bundle branch block may also occur in a healthy heart.

What are the symptoms of bundle branch block?

If there is nothing else wrong with your heart, you probably will not feel any symptoms of bundle branch block. In fact, some people may have bundle branch block for years and never know they have the condition. In people who do have symptoms, they may faint (syncope) or feel as if they are going to faint (presyncope).

So why should we worry about bundle branch block? Because it can be a warning sign of other, more serious heart conditions. For example, it might mean that a small part of your heart is not getting enough oxygen-rich blood. Also, researchers have found that people who have left bundle branch block may be at greater risk for heart disease than are people who do not have the condition.

How is bundle branch block diagnosed?

Doctors can use an electrocardiogram (EKG or ECG) machine to record the electrical impulses of your heart. Bundle branch block shows up on the EKG tracing. The electrical patterns recorded by the EKG machine can even show your doctor whether the block is located in the right or left bundle branch.

How is bundle branch block treated?

In most cases, bundle branch block does not need treatment. But patients who have bundle branch block along with another heart condition may need treatment. For example, if bundle branch block develops during a heart attack, you may need a pacemaker. After a heart attack, your heart is fragile, and bundle branch block may cause a very slow heart rhythm (bradycardia). A pacemaker will help regulate the heart's rhythm after a heart attack.

For patients with both bundle branch block and dilated cardiomyopathy, a new type of pacing called cardiac resynchronization treatment (CRT) may be used. Normally, pacemakers pace only one of the lower heart chambers (the ventricles) at a time. But CRT re-coordinates the beating of the two ventricles by pacing them at the same time. Recent studies have shown that CRT works for certain patients with both bundle branch block and dilated cardiomyopathy.

Even if you do not have other conditions, you should still see your doctor regularly so that he or she can be sure there are no other changes in your heart.

Try a couple of 99mg potassium tablets from WalMart. It should do the trick.

Has anyone suffered from lightheadedness whenever their estradiol

levels have been elevated? I've been suffering from lightheadedness

for over a month now and suspect it may be because my E2 is too high.

Anyone here ever experienced that?

Yes and it's in my case my nerves I would even have panic attacks in the middle

of the night. My Dr. told me it mess with your hormones and if your on TRT it

will hold your treatment back. My Adrenalin levels would go way up and my BP

and heart rate would be bad at very high levels.
