Has anyone had gb removed that still has pain like a gb attack? the

Gastro doc said it is very rare to still have stones and made me feel

like I am just being a hypochondriac, I am very insulted I have given

birth and had at least 50 attacks along with 6 hospitaliztions from

pancreatitis and never once took pain releif meds so I know what pain

is and I know I am not being a hypochondriac, I was also told it

could be IBS, who gives these people there degrees???? Any info or

suggestion would be helpful!! Thanks

--- not sure if i can be much help or not....i hade mine removed in

November...and did have one more small episode about 2wks later..but

think that it could have also been pgncy related...we did do an u/s

of everything and there were no stones stuck or anything like that..

and my GB was removed due to polyps and if i had not been pg. i

think i would have waited...

it did take a little getting used to..i never did have any of the

side effects that everyone told me about..but there is one food that

i really can not eat much anymore because it just hurts like bad

heartburn or something...weird uh...

like i said i am not much help..

but i do hope you feel better and find someone who will listen to

you!!..
