Guest guest
One drawback would the applying it to the scrotum. XXYs have very small scrotums and Andromen is manufactured to be applied to a normal sized scrotum. That is why the scrotal applications of testosterone supplements of the past did not work for XXYs. From: chrisdl2008 <chrisdl2008@...> Subject: Andromen cream - good or bad?? Date: Thursday, January 22, 2009, 2:21 PM I've heard a few people of late claim Andromen cream is far superior compared to other transdermal gels/creams for following reasons: 1. less needs to be applied (few grams compared to 7.5-10g with Androgel for example) 2. much more cost effective because applied to scrotum (60-70% absorption rate compared to about 10% with gels/creams applied to shoulders/back/ upper arms 3. quick drying compared to other transdermals and quicker to apply people using it are also reporting good erections/potency - this is not always the case for those on TRT even although TT levels well within range and estradiol kept within 15-30 pg/dl range what I want to know is if the product is this good why does it lag behind androgel and testim in the market? and even injectables if its far superior to other gels and creams for absorption and application? I realise its manufactured by Austraian co and might not be marketed in Europe or US but it can be bought direct from hormone solutions without prescription so that gets round that one. Are there people out there having tried this product with bad experiences? like high DHT (hair falling out etc), rash on scrotum, gyno or other nasty side effect or is it all good like its being made out to be? Guest guest
I am guessing you don't use it because of this then? - if you do use it would you recommend it as TRT treatment and where are you based? since I know this is only prescribed by doctors in Australia at the moment although could be bought personally I guess in UK or US > > From: chrisdl2008 <chrisdl2008@...> > Subject: Andromen cream - good or bad?? > > Date: Thursday, January 22, 2009, 2:21 PM > > > > > > > I've heard a few people of late claim Andromen cream is far superior > compared to other transdermal gels/creams for following reasons: > > 1. less needs to be applied (few grams compared to 7.5-10g with > Androgel for example) > > 2. much more cost effective because applied to scrotum (60-70% > absorption rate compared to about 10% with gels/creams applied to > shoulders/back/ upper arms > > 3. quick drying compared to other transdermals and quicker to apply > > people using it are also reporting good erections/potency - this is > not always the case for those on TRT even although TT levels well > within range and estradiol kept within 15-30 pg/dl range > > what I want to know is if the product is this good why does it lag > behind androgel and testim in the market? and even injectables if its > far superior to other gels and creams for absorption and application? > > I realise its manufactured by Austraian co and might not be marketed > in Europe or US but it can be bought direct from hormone solutions > without prescription so that gets round that one. > > Are there people out there having tried this product with bad > experiences? like high DHT (hair falling out etc), rash on scrotum, > gyno or other nasty side effect > > or is it all good like its being made out to be? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I live in the USA. I have been on the injections, and Testim and AndroDerm skin patches and now I'm on AndroGel. The injections caused hypertension and a significant increase in red blood cells. The Testim skin patches worked the best with minimal skin reactions but they were taken off the market, the AndroDerm cause allergic contact dermatitis. Testosterone blood levels were very good, I couldn't take the skin rash. The AndroGel is a topical clear gel. It has worked the best for me, however I have read that the scrotal application was or is to be an alternative to the skin rashes of the topical gels since they have a high alcohol content. Apparently the scrotal cream or gel does not. Testosterone is a control drug in the USA. Purchasing this hormone in a concentrated form, such as in a prescription is illegal. It seems that there is a company based in Australia called Auturky Sex & Hormone Group Co., Ltd that any kind of hormonal preparation can be purchased. Guest guest
ruxxy2 thanks for info although still not sure from what you say if you would recommend " andromen " ? this product can be bought from www.hormonesolutions.com.au for $100 which lasts few months when were you diagnosed as xxy then? and what are all the benefits you have got from TRT? since I have small testicles and I plan on taking karotype test to see if I have genetic problem causing low T Some xxy's on this board have noted beard growth, increase in phallus size and muscle mass as improvements but some also report gyno probably because estradiol is not being monitored along with TT > > > > From: chrisdl2008 <chrisdl2008@ ...> > > Subject: Andromen cream - good or bad?? > > > > Date: Thursday, January 22, 2009, 2:21 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I've heard a few people of late claim Andromen cream is far > superior > > compared to other transdermal gels/creams for following reasons: > > > > 1. less needs to be applied (few grams compared to 7.5-10g with > > Androgel for example) > > > > 2. much more cost effective because applied to scrotum (60-70% > > absorption rate compared to about 10% with gels/creams applied to > > shoulders/back/ upper arms > > > > 3. quick drying compared to other transdermals and quicker to apply > > > > people using it are also reporting good erections/potency - this is > > not always the case for those on TRT even although TT levels well > > within range and estradiol kept within 15-30 pg/dl range > > > > what I want to know is if the product is this good why does it lag > > behind androgel and testim in the market? and even injectables if > its > > far superior to other gels and creams for absorption and > application? > > > > I realise its manufactured by Austraian co and might not be > marketed > > in Europe or US but it can be bought direct from hormone solutions > > without prescription so that gets round that one. > > > > Are there people out there having tried this product with bad > > experiences? like high DHT (hair falling out etc), rash on scrotum, > > gyno or other nasty side effect > > > > or is it all good like its being made out to be? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
