Most injectable testosterone in America is 200 mg/mL, whether that is

Test Cypionate or Test Enanthate. I believe that a higher

concentration- 250 mg/mL Test Enanthate- is made in Spain.

Whether using Test Cyp or Test Enan, 70% of the dose is actual

testosterone. Hence, an injection of 75 mg (.375 mL) Test Cyp/Enan

per week would give you 52.5 mg testosterone- the same weekly total

you get from Androgel (assuming ideal absorption). This parallels

natural production in eugonadal males (7-11 mg testosterone per day).

However, most guys are advised to inject 100 mg (.5 mL) Test Cyp per

week, which gives 70 mg/week. Some men in this group inject 50 mg

every 3 days, which is better in minimizing conversion to estrogen.

Somehow the math doesn't work for me. The vials of Testosterone

Cypionate that I buy are 200 mg of testosterone per ml. So, 1/2 ml will

deliver 100 mg of testosterone or 1 ml will deliver 200 mg of

testosterone. One can read the fine printed insert that comes with each

vial.

I inject 90 mg/week of testosterone so that takes .450 ml of

Testosterone Cypionate.

That's the form I was originally prescribed, 100 mg/ml in 10 ml vials.

When stocks ran low about 6-7 years ago and one couldn't order it

anywhere for many months, I turned to a compounding pharmacy to get my T

and they mixed it at 200 mg/ml. It was 1/2 the price for twice the

product compared to premixed stuff. I stuck with compounded T until the

prices became about the same.
