Guest guest
Hi Joe, I feel it is 150 IU's and yes this is to low. This is all your doing and your not going to get any kind of good levels using this low a dose. I would ask the Dr. to let you do 1ml or 100 IU's everyday. Do you get a feeling of well being after your shots. What brand are you using. Phil Joe Paladino <dacrow52@...> wrote: Right now the HCG is 10,000 USP, 1.5 ml 2x a week (I do it every Monday and Thursday). Any feedback (too low, too high, etc.?) I go for my first bloodwork next week (on HCG). Joe P. Hey Phil- thanks for the invite. Guest guest
You've dropped a zero, Phil. 10,000IUs in 10ml of water = 1,000IU per ml. His dose is 1.5 X 1,000IU/ml = 1,500IU per dose. Twice a week = 1,500IU X 2 = 3,000IU per week. Brad Hey Phil- thanks for the > invite. Guest guest
When you mix it you add 10 mls of water this makes 10,000 units of HCG / by 10 mls = 1000 IU's / ml so now I am sitting here seeing I made a mistake. Your dong 1500 IU's and this comes to 3000 a week. I would not do this for more then 4 weeks. It would be better doing it everyday after this. Your Dr. is doing HCG for you sperm count. But I strated on Novarel HCG then when I had to use it as a maintenance I had to get if filled at MedcoHealth and they sent me APP I used it for 6 weeks got a blood test and my levels fell down to what they were before I started on HCG. So I went from 1138 to 650 Total T. So APP did not work for me and I will not use it. But you see how easy it is to make a mistake figuring dose's. This is way you need to be dam sure you know what your Dr. is trying to do. I feel if you do this dose for to long it will burn out your cells in your testis. Read the insert that comes with the HCG and you will see what or where your Dr. got this dose. Dr. at www.allthingsmale.com feels no one should do more then 350 IU's at a time. I hate to say this but I feel they are wasting your time trying to get your sperm count up. I feel if after 4 yrs. on TRT and making the gains you make this is just a big set back. I have come off T meds 7 times in the last 22 yrs. and each time is was an Endo that took me off. Saying he needs to get a base line test done. All they ever found out was how sick they made me. I always went back down to my first blood test 120 total t. Your being on the gels that long shut down your HPTA but it was down anyway. So you need to learn more about this from guys that are in the same boat your in. If I were you I would try to find a Dr. that will work with Dr. at www.allthingsmale.com he is one of the best on this I feel in the world. Men fly to MI. to see him. He is talking to me now in my Emale. He has something going on with Dr. Shippen the author of the book " The Testosterone Syndrome " so we can see some new info coming out of this. Guest guest
Thanks for the honest input Phil- thing is though, am I permanently damaging myself with these dosages? Even if it doesn't end up successful, I'm willing to try and fail (well, without scarring myself up) than not at all, ya know? Hey Phil- thanks for the > > invite. Guest guest
No not really you can do high does's of HCG just don't want to do them to long. Read the AACE Guildlines on HCG. On page 13 they say 1000 to 2000 IU's 2 to 3 times a week so you need to read this then I feel you can make up your mind on what to do. http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf Phil Joe Paladino <dacrow52@...> wrote: Thanks for the honest input Phil- thing is though, am I permanently damaging myself with these dosages? Guest guest
Hi Lee, Glad you found us! For a good introduction to HCG and a good way to dose testosterone, try this web site. http://www.allthingsmale.com/publications.html Download the two PDF files, " TRT: A Recipe for Success " and " HCG Update " . Those should answer many of your questions. I myself follow this format. I inject HCG with a extremely small needle (31ga) on Monday and Tuesday in my stomach. On Wednesday I inject into the side of my thigh .60cc of injectable testosterone with a 28ga needle. Also, on Tuesday and Friday I take a quarter of a Arimidex tablet. Thanks pretty much it! Before taking testosterone my level was around 275, now it's around 750-800. I feel much better. Hope this helps, please let us know how you are doing! Have you had tests? yes have been under the Doctor. My GP is a waste of time and the Endocrinologist i paid privatley to see put me straight on Sustanon 250 every 4 weeks from my results - LH=1.6, FSH=1.8, test=10. i didnt get any better 12 months later!! > > > DOing this on intuition alone can mess you up permanently. >
Guest guest
> I have just looke dup Arimidex, i believe it to be like Nolvadex. I have some nolvadex as my current Sustanon every 3 weeks trt gave me gyno!! My Dr wouldnt give me nolvadex i again had to source it. Hi, what country are you in? nolvadex BLOCKS estrogen and arimidex blocks the conversion of testosterone to estrogen... with nolvadex the estrogen IS still there it just has less effect. instead of doing 1 big blast of sustanon every 3 weeks do 1/2cc (125mg typically) every week and you'll get less gyno problems... since real sustanon comes in ampules you'll probably have to draw up both syringes at once and store one for the next week but it's worth the trouble.
