Great to read from you Phil. Your faith with friends and family prayers was on

your side. You seem to have a great and strong wife. Never let her forget how

much she is worth to you. Continue to improve even slowly. The forum has not

been the same without you, although others have stepped in. Once again continue

to recover Sir.

Hi everyone I just got home from the hosp. after 17 weeks and 5

surgeries. One surgery after the other went bad.

They had to take out my sternum the wire to hold my ribs together

broke the they tried a metal plate with screws that became infect

then they had sedate with my chest open laying on my back for 19 days.

So now I have the biggest bed sore on my back side just raw meat. So

I cant sit and my hands shake very bad so at some time the Dr'.s

think I had a small stroke.

I lost all my muscles and am now trying to learn to walk with a

walker.

I should have died 5 times but here I am I cant type very good and my

brain has a hard time working.

Open heart sugary is rough I went into surgary a strong man and woke

up 14 weeks later a weak fragile helpless man. I owe my wife my life

she stood be the whole time.

So I am back and working on walking with a walker.

I will post when I can just doing this is doing me in.

Thanks for the prayers.

Phil.

Hello Phil,

I think that I ask Dan if he had heard from you a couple of days ago, he said

no I have not heard a word, then you show up here.

It is extremely good to see your name on the list again. You sure went

through hell that is for sure old buddy. You will never forget that experience.

God bless your wife for sticking by you so close, love her to pieces! I don't

know how you can even sit down at a computer yet. We all missed you

terribly. I noticed several of the guys were giving YOUR past instructions,

which is how much they trust you. Am so thankful for your return, God

has blessed not only you but all of us. Take good care of yourself and

may the Lord continue to heal you completely. After all your previous

experiences you didn't need this!!

Ever Blessing,

Roy

Thanks Roy I am getting better by the day there is some thing about this that

makes you want to jump the wife everydaay. The dam thing is hard all the time

and she is getting sick of me going after her. So there is some good that came

out of this.

Dr. told this would happen when he seen I was taking cialis.

You are welcome Phil. You must be betting well quicker than anyone though you

would after all that suffering surgery. I'll bet the wife isn't as unhappy as

you let on

now. Were you taking T shots too while you were in the hospital? I am so happy

Tell her to thank God that you are around to jump her bones.

Blessings,

I think my wifes hormones are off and she does not feel like sex a will not see

a Dr. or go on HRT. I am just using her like a blow up doll. Not much fun she

looks like she can't wait for it to be over.

Some life and my orgams are so strong and last so long now it's just to bad she

is like this. But I am going to keep at her to see a Dr.

Phil

My wife is on meds for reflux that causes B-12 to drop below normal.

She was also less interested in sex. On a visit to our regular doctor

he checked her B-12 and testosterone levels. Her B-12 was almost 0

and her T low. He put her on B-12 shots with 50mg of T every 2 weeks.

She has been on female hormone patches for years so her female

hormones was normal.

Our sex life changed while I was waiting for my implant so

intercourse was very speratic for about 3 years (You do not have to

have intercourse to have sex). After my implant was activated 12/5/08

she started to complain of pain with sex. Our doctor sent her to a

new Ob-Gyn. He took her off the patches and gave her a pill that she

injects into her vigina. One week later problem solved.

All women should have there testosterone level checked. If you wife

has lost interest in sex her T level is probaly low.

Now we have intercourse about 3 times every two weeks. At 66 (me) and

68 (her) doctor says we have a better sex life than most people half

our age.

Good Luck, get her to have her hormones checked. It does make a

differance.

Jack

PS Good to see you back.

Thanks Jack for the info yes my wife has pain at first when we start having sex

then it gets better. I cant tell her much about her hormones she sees her

OB-gym and tells me all is fine I know it's not but what can one do.

Get her testosterone tested. She may need some compounded testosterone

cream as a rub-on before sex.

Hi all things are not going to good when I come off pain pills I found out how

much muscle I lost through all of this. Being on my back out cold for 17 weeks

wasted away my body.

I have a lot of pain when I move in my joints I push myself to do my upper and

lower body exercise pushing through the pain. But the walking has hurt my knees

I am very mad that I let my therpy and Dr. push me to walk faster and longer.

Now I can't get up and walk without being in a lot of pain. Last night my knee

when out and I fell agenst the door frame going to the bathroom. Now more

injurys hurt my back.

I seen my Dr. a week ago last Tue. told him I can't walk and am having a lot of

pain doing my exercise. What does he do he orders a Stress Test and tells me to

go into Cardo Therpy. Now my mind is still not right so when my wife made the

appointmeints for this. I realized I can't do this what is my Dr. thinking. I

can't walk on a tread mill and lay in a MRI on my back still have a bad bed

sore. It much better but if I lay on my back side or sit for a short time the

sore opens again.

I know I need all of this but I feel they are pushing me to hard and fast all

this is doing is setting me back.

Here I was told after they fix my heart I will be a new man yes sure I woke up

in the shape of a 90 yr. old man. I was so weak I could not push the button to

get the nurse in the hosp.

I am fighting very hard to keep depression at bay but find myself very adjtated.

Yesterday the nurse that comes to the house for my bed sore gave me a big

talking to about how I need to keep going and to get the stress test and go into

the heart cado therpy. I guess my wife got to here I got very made to told her

she is not different them my Dr. I asked her is she heard a work I said about

how weak I am and how much pain I am in.

There is no way I can do this and they just keep pushing like am a kid that does

not want to go to school.

I see the heart Dr. for the first time in a week I hope I get some idea what I

need to do from him on how to rebuild my body with out hurting myself.

When you do therpy they push the crap out of you they did this to me in the

hosp. Pushed me to walk a long time with out a weel chair behind me that I

could sit on if I needed it. I ended up on the floor this was the first of many

things that these people that give therpy did to me.

Sorry for the rant just beside myself with all of this. Here I though

everything was going great until I come off pain pills. Doing this was hell and

I am not going back on them. The pain pills were covering up how bad my body is

doing.

For my knees my Dr. told me to get some Glocosamine with Chondroitin Sulface

from what I know about this it does not work all that great and takes a long

time to work.

Before stopping the pain pills I was walking 30 min.'s a day I felt this was not

bad. After all when I come too I could not walk.

Now I am back to base one and starting all over again the best I can do walking

now is about 5 min.'s.

Phil,

I'm so sorry to hear what a hard time you are having. You've done so

much good for others here, and I am sure elsewhere too. Hang in

there.

What would you tell someone else who posted a message like this to

Phil,

I think this is worth a look. I just got finished reading this book and

there is a lot of potential.

DMSO: Nature's Healer

http://www.amazon.com/DMSO-Natures-Healer-Morton-/dp/0895295482/ref=sr_1_1\

?ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1241722874 & sr=1-1

I've currently used it to accelerate the healing of bruises. It's used

in sports injuries (directly) and in spinal and brain injuries(IVs).

Using a hyperbolic chamber can also accelerate healing and if your

finances are up to it, there are personal hyperbolic chambers one buy

that provide part of what a large expensive hospital one would provide.

L-theanine is also mentally calming and cognitive enhancing and might be

a way to deal with agitation.

I also would ignore the advice from any doctor that requested that I

stop all my supplements. Other advice might be pertinent, but s/he

would have to justify stopping any and each supplement with more than

hand waving and bs.

Good news I seen the Heart Dr. not the one that did the bypass sugary but the

one that first seen me and tried to fix my blockage by doing a balloon-tipped

catheter. I seen him again yesterday and my chart was so thick the nurse made

remark about it being so thick for the 2ND. visit.

When the Dr. come in to see me the first thing he talked about was my low

hormones and being Hypopituitary he said the Heart bypass Dr.'s like to take

people off there Hormones and this is to him a big mistake. Turns out he was a

Endo specializing in Pituitary and Hormone problems before he became a Heart Dr.

He told me they also messed up on my Testosterone meds give me to low a dose

making my joints and muscles break down so we are not doing any heart smart diet

he wants me to eat a diet higher in protein and good fats to help heal my body

and not gain any weight so I am just going to follow the diet I did this Weight

Watchers.

Then we will do a heart diet and go into heart therapy when my body heals or

gets better.

I told him my family Dr. wanted me to do a stress test before I seen him and to

start Therapy for my heart. I told him how upset this made me and my wife made

these appointments that I canceled. He said it was good I did this he does not

do Stress Testing after bypass sugary and he needs to just let him treat my

heart.

I am so happy to find out this Dr. is up on all the things wrong with me and

told me he is calling my Dr. and having a long talk with him about my treatment

he feels I need Growth Hormone my levels are to low at 125 he does not go by

the range by age and feels one needs to be near 300.

So for once things are looking up

I'm really glad things are starting to look up for you, Phil. Hope you get all

the care you need to recover.
