Guest guest
> Hi ya'll - My name is (aka kins) - I've been >having a lot of health problems in the past 4 months >and I was diagnosed with chronic reflux disease and >then on Friday my doc said that he thinks I need to go >and have an ultrasound done of my gallbladder. >I've been doing some reading up on it and this sounds >kinda scary - I had a friend tell me that your gallbladder >can burst if it gets too inflamed - is this true? Welcome :-) A gallbladder would have to be pretty severly diseased to burst, I was told this by a doctor over 15 years ago about my gallbladder that makes stones (that I have not had removed so far) as he tried to encourage me to have surgery. I think that you would know if your gallbladder was that diseased, feel terrible and have quite a bit of pain. L. Guest guest
> > > How is your gall bladder now . Do you have still > stones in it or it is clear. Did you have an ultra > sound. I posted a message about that last week or week before...was having ultrasound for something unrelated to the gallbladder, and asked the radiologist to take a look at my GB off the record... she did. While she was doing it, I mentioned that I flush my GB and she became quite interested saying she knew all about the flushes and helped people with alternative medicine. There were still stones, I have only done 2 flushes after waiting 5 years and through a lot of changes in my body. I did one a year ago, but hardly count it because it produced so little, the two this year were much more productive. Am sure there are plenty that are moving down from the liver, or perhaps my system makes the cholesterol type stones quickly, she suggested. But she told me I should flush 3 nights in a row...that would do it. Also said it can happen that you throw up and get nauseous with it, which I haven't had happen recently, but have in years past when I've done this. She pointed to the stones and described how some of them were small stones stuck together, etc. In June I am going to give another go to flushing... bit not sure if I'm brave enough to do 3 nights in a row...we'll see :-) L. Guest guest
> > > Do you feel any pain or discomfort due to your stones. No pain, but a vague feeling in back and shoulder, and occasionally on right side, that is uncomfortable. That is how I know that my GB needs cleansing. It used to be years back when I did the flush, it would take a year or 2 for those symptoms to come back, but as I get older..... L. Guest guest
And I should add that when i eat a meal that doesn't agree with my gallbladder, have sypmtoms similar to ibs, gas, uncomfortable feeling in upper abdomen, etc. I use digestive enzymes to help that, and also take a product that absorbs fat before fattier meals called " Fat Grabbers " . I get my oil/fat from good sources like olive oil or flax seed oil, etc., take the Fat Grabbers before meals that have meats with fat, or when I want to give in to a snack that may have fat. The good oils I have to take in small amounts throughout the day, capsule form, as too much would cause symptoms, but not like when I eat " bad " fats! L. Guest guest
You had acute problems, others have chronic problems. Which consist of a vague feeling of discomfort, espically after fatty meals. I started the figs 3 days ago, but can tell little progress so far, not sure how long it takes the figs to work. Anyone know?
Guest guest
A few members have mentioned the site www.gallbladderattack.com I have tried the beet recipe for the pain, and has given me great relief. Even has helped with the burping from the organol. I have emailed Deborah and gotten further suggestions she recommended the Phosfood to help with nausea along with the other products for gallbladder attack. I hope this helps someone, so much of the information that you guys have posted have helped me greatly. Pray I can help someone else. Another aid that has helped me is I read all the healing scriptures from the Bible and have them on tape. God says that He sent his Word and healed them. I believe His Word. These are just what I found helps me. Blessings to all

Guest guest
Where do you get decent figs? Most of the year you cannot get them here in the area where I live and when you can they are all dried up and those terrible mission figs. Guest guest
Hi...try finding friends for her a group meetings at church or a nearby college...is there a club she may be interested in? Will she take part in art classes or other programs? Just keeping looking and trying different things. Maybe you could talk to her guidance councelor or Case manager at school if she has one. Try to find groups that work with children with AS children....keep you eye open to everything. Jan Janice Rushen "I will try to be open to all avenues of wisdom and hope" From: angeliafendermichael <angeliafendermichael@...>Subject: ( ) Newbie Alert Date: Thursday, April 23, 2009, 4:56 PM Hey - I am brand new to this group and I just wanted to introduce myself. My daughter, 15, was diagnosed last year and I am so at odds with myself right now. She is extremely bright but has a real ineptitude when it comes to social situations and I feel bad because most of her free time is in the presence of adults and family. I would like to know what anyone would suggest as far as creating ways for her to make friends. This is her 1st year of high school and she is totally overwhelmed by it. Her teachers know all about her disorder and they are as helpful as they can be. Please help - I want my child, more than anything, to have a special friend she can talk to and share her interests with.
