Guest guest
Doing high dose shots like this is not good and doing them every 2 weeks it very old. It puts you on a roller coaster ride up after the shot then only to fall way back down by the next one. Also doing this big shot will drive up your Estradiol E2 levels this takes away from anygood the Testostreone shots are doing. In the AACE Guildlines it states on page 11 to do shots every 7 to 10 days. Most of use do shots our selfs 100 mgs a week to start. Try to get your Dr. to let you do this and retest in 8 weeks. If you levels are not up into the upper 1/3 of your labs range doing a blood test on the day of your next shot but before it up the dose to 125 mgs and hold 8 more weeks. Keep track of your Estradiol if it goes above 73 pmol/L then you will need some thing to keep it down here is the USA we use Arimidex .25mgs or 1/4 of a one mg. pill every 2 to 3 days. http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2008/nov2008_Dangers-of-Excess-Estrogen-in-the-Ag\ ing-Male_01.htm http://www.medibolics.com/ArimidexBoostsTestosterone.htm Also go to Dr. Crisler - www.AllThingsMale.com and read TRT: A Recipe for Success and his HCG update he puts this out there free for us and your Dr. he is one of the best hormone Dr.'s in the world he treats more men then any Dr. out there. Guest guest
You would do better on Androgel, most of the men I have talked to in the UK doing Sustanon 100 or 250 " Sustanon " is the brand name for two formulas of injectable testosterone that contain a blend of esters. " Sustanon 100 " contains three testosterone esters: testosterone propionate (C22H32O3), testosterone phenylpropionate (C28H36O3), and testosterone isocaproate (C25H3803). " Sustanon 250 " contains four testosterone esters: testosterone propionate (C22H32O3), testosterone phenylpropionate (C28H36O3), testosterone isocaproate (C25H3803), and testosterone decanoate (C29H4603). Both formulas feature both fast-acting and slow-acting esters, and can be injected anywhere from once every week to once every four weeks. Sustanon is prescribed outside of the United States. Did much better on the gels the Dr. will start you at 5 grams so retest in 2 weeks to be sure it's working. Most do 10 grams. Guest guest
I am not on Gels anymore I have a thyroid problem and this makes my skin thicker and the gels don't get through my skin enough to give me high enough levels. But I can say that seeing how you did not the shot you need a higher dose of Androgel I would start at 7.5 grams or 10 get the pump kind if you can. Take a good shower in the morning and after your done shaving and good and dry. Put the gel half the dose on your upper arms and shoulders and down your back as far as you can reach. Spread it around good but don't rub it in let it dry from wet. Then do the other side keep a T shirt on around kids and women so the gel does not get on them. When you go the bed and have sex take a shower to wash off the gel this will not lower your levels after it's on over 6 hrs. If you shower the night before you don't need to shower again in the morning just put the gel on. Doing gels keeps your levels up like your body does your higher in the morning lower by bed time. This is close to what your normal body would do. Can you see how I posted at the top of this tread please post this way posting at the bottom people with hand held phones with web service can't read your reply. Guest guest
Thank you Phil for your precious advices. I dont understand why some people need 250mg IM / 3 weeks, others one IM / 2weeks. I mean, enanthate is supposed to last in the blood 3 weeks (according to different doctor). It's absolutely fasle!! check out my T blood test. I'm going to ask for another treatment. Last qustion: What treatment would you recommend for a man with an obvious puberty? In my opinion, i dont need to reach the higher level, i just want to be in mid-range everyday. In order to complete my puberty (i'm 28). I'm a little bit scared of high T level, i think it's a little bit dangerous. Just want to be normal, feel normal, so be in the normal dosage and level! That's all i want, the " mid-range " but permanent. Thank you again and again.
Guest guest
That kind of shot is 3 different kinds of Testosterone and it just does not work all that great why Dr.'s do this I can't say. They start men on them some do OK others end up like you not going up on there levels. I under stand your concern about high levels of testosterone but going on gels your not going to be to high and when your on them don't use the gel the morning your going to do labs if you do your levels can spike way up this happens because after you put on the gel some of it can get on the needle the take your blood with for labs and spike up your labs so shower do labs then put on gel. High levels of testosterone over the top of your labs range are not good it can stress your adrenals giving you low Cortisol levels over time and can make your blood to think so just try to keep your levels up into the upper 1/3 of your labs range and test your Estradiol levels them shots you are on dive this up to high you need to keep your Estradiol at about 73 pmol/L or 20 pg/ml. I feel you will do good on Andorgel you can start at the lower dose 5 grams but if you do test in 2 weeks so you know it's enough your levels can go down lower then you started. Your brain sees the Testosterone in your blood and stops telling your Testis to make more. So when you first go on this dose it can make your levels go up in the first week and you feel dam good then your brain sees this and you lose you base levels and all your left with is what the gel is doing so you fall back and feel bad again. Some men fall back lower then they started so test in 2 weeks and if your not up in the upper 1/3 of your labs range go higher on the dose. ANdrogel is very expensive - though I imagine covered for free if you are in Europe. Many of us find it stops working over time. The T leads the application area to grow hair and the skin thickens and absorbtion drops. Most of us do weekly injections of cypionante or enanthate - both of which are also very cheap. Guest guest
I live in france and the national insurance pay for it (on the basis that you're hypogonodal, not for sport performance!). Thanks to all your informations, i will ask for androgel or weekly injection (if my doc can find a product). By the way, do you know which one is the best to speed up a delayed puberty problem? I mean, enanthate is a mix of 3 different T. Is there a treatment which is more efficient for second sexual caracteristic? (like facial hair, skin, face shape..). Thank you.
