Guest guest
59 year old male; primary hypogonadic, on Androgel for several years. In good shape, cardio 5 days/week, weight training 5 days/week, very strong I applied 10 g/day for about 3 months then reduced it to 7.5 g/day. Got ED for the first time in my life (libido is excellent) so had blood work done Total t = 866 ng/dl (250-1100) free t = 201.8 pg/ml (46-224) bioavail T = 414.9 ng/dl (110-575) SHBG = 19 nmol/L (18-47) albumin serum - 4.5 g/dl (3.6-5.1) DHEA = 147 all looks good so far?????? called nurse today for ultrasensitive E2 results--- she told me = 95!!!!!!! 95 = E2-- possible on androgel with moderate doseage??? I am totally freaked out-- please advise 1. should i ask doc to repeat all tests including testosterone and E2 lab tests? 2. assuming this is accurate how long will E2 stay in my system if I reduce androgel to 5 g/day??? outside of ED, what are other symptoms of high E2?? no gyno I can detect. --
