Guest guest
I just got through reading everything and I have a few suggestions for those people who are looking for foods that are safe. I have made soup with vegetable broth, carrots, celery, and spinach and that hasn't bothered me at all. I think that when the vegetables are cooked they aren't so hard on the congested liver. I just throw everything into a pan, bring to a boil and the simmer on low for about 20 minutes. Also, I use chicken broth (free range) and put in cabbage and swiss chard. This is very good for the body and for me it didn't cause any kind of digestive problems. Although I would be careful on this one since cabbage does stimulate the gallbladder. I have done two flushes so far and have had significant improvement in what I can eat. I can actually go out to eat and not suffer too much afterwards. I do want to stress that this is a process and anyone looking for a quick fix might as well go get your gallbladder out from your MD. This site is here for us to give and recieve information. I know it has been said that it is Your body and Your health but I wanted to say it again. The people on this site can only share their experiences, in the end each of us has had to decide what we thought was the best choice. It took me almost 6 months to get up the courage to try the flush. After I was in enough pain I decided what did I have to lose. My doctor told me that she didn't think the flush would hurt me and at the worst is would end me up in the Hospital, which is where I would end up anyway if I got my GB taken out. So that finally convinced me to try it. I was not disappointed. The first flush I did was with sunflower oil ( it was easier to get down than the olive) and lemon juice. I passed probably close to 250 stones that first flush. I can tell you that I am grateful that I decided to try it and I'm also grateful that I have a supportive Doctor who doens't tell me what to do only offer suggestions. To anyone out there suffering from these attacks let me say that I feel for you and I hope the information from this site will help you to achieve the best health possible for you. Good Luck and don't give up.
