Guest guest
There's another reason I can think of having to do with hormones, enzyme balance, and subjective feelings of " well being " . To quote from my doctor: " Patients all report they feel dramatically better once the HCG regimen is initiated (and they were properly tuned up on testosterone before they started it). HCG, as a LH analog, increases the activity of the P450 SCC enzyme, which converts CHOL to pregnenolone. Thus all three hormonal pathways are stimulated in patients who may be either entirely, or very nearly, HPTA suppressed. It is my belief this may be a factor in the heightened sense of well-being my patients report throughout the week—far in excess of what a minimal dose of HCG would produce by virtue of induced testosterone production. " I take HCG for reasons 1, 3, and the reasons above - I think it adds to my overall sense of well-being. Jim
Guest guest
I don't have my records in front of me, but I know that my testicles are about the same size that they were before I started TRT - perhaps a tad bit smaller, but still within the normal range. I'm hoping that I can actually get a slight increase in my HCG dosage soon. Sorry I can't give you my LH, FSH, T and E2 levels. At one point I had an endo who was only giving me HCG. Prior to that, my T levels were under 200. They went up to the 300 levels with HCG and my sperm count went way up, but as I was not interested in impregnating any women, fertility wasn't an issue for me, and I didn't agree with his treatment. He also was not concerned with E2 levels. My current doctor (Crisler) then took over and raised my T levels to over 400 (still lower than I'd like) while keeping my E2 levels well within normal range (under 30?). I'm getting tested tomorrow and will post the results of my current regimen once they are processed if you'd like. Guest guest
My second wife - what a piece of work she was - at one point said, " you have small balls for a guy! " - something every guy wants to hear. Years later I told my endo, and he said, " let's take a look... Nope, they're absolutely average. " For years I walked around thinking they were small when they weren't. Even to this day I wonder about it a bit. If I can get a higher dose of HCG I'm hoping to bump up the size a bit. Guest guest
I am wondering whether you got direct answer to your question of the reasons for HCG. I have looked but I can't find one real answer. I nearly couldn't find your first post on the question but finally did. I would like know how much better it makes you feel by injecting HCG. I have been on T now for nearly 30 years, didn't know that my E2 was low until l had a complete blood test by an Endo. Have been taking Arimidex since then and do feel better but was wondering about HCG. Yes my balls are about the size of grapes but doesn't seem to affect me indirectly. AT 84 I don't care about getting my older wife pregnant ) Blessings, Roy brownsaucylicious <brownsaucylicious@...> wrote: Introduction: Hi... I thought I create this topic as people use different reasons to inject themselves with HCG. These are the three catergories that I know of: 1/To prevent testicle atrophy from Testosterone injections 2/To increase sperm count 3/To increase testicle volume (size) What I ask is for people to post in their reasons along with their dosage details. This will help all of us here, and help guide individuals for individual needs. It would be nice to catergorize your response with either the number 1, 2 or 3, depending on your case. This will help individuals narrow down their access to the information they need to pin point on. It would be helpful if you could include the following: -Number of category (i.e. 1, 2 or 3) -Reasons -Dosage of injection -Timing of injection -Usage of injection i.e. monthly or weekly etc -The long term plan i.e. on it for life, or for short term (this will vary depending on the reasons for the use of HCG) -Your T, LH, FSH, E2 levels before and after the treatment (any other hormones you suggest are important to measure with HCG therapy please include so). I believe this will really help and guide people and bring better understand all under this topic. I myself am planning to use it along with the TRT, with the guide of allthingsmale site. But am wondering whether I can use it in order to increase my sperm count, as I am 2% functional on live sperms. However I sometimes wonder on whether I can use it to help testicular development. But I am not 100% sure, but I hope from this topic (as the introduction should have explained) that it will many like me and others, if the responses come in. Good luck to all! x --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.

Guest guest
Hi Ernest, No you aren't the oldest guy on this board. I haven't heard of any older than 84 though have you? If there are any, speak up so I know that I have good company around. :-) ernestnolan <ernestnolan@...> wrote: Hi, At 76 I thought I was the oldest guy lurking around here. ernestnolan > Introduction: > > Hi... > > I thought I create this topic as people use different reasons to > inject themselves with HCG. > > These are the three catergories that I know of: > > 1/To prevent testicle atrophy from Testosterone injections > 2/To increase sperm count > 3/To increase testicle volume (size) > > What I ask is for people to post in their reasons along with their > dosage details.
