I am similar to you 2.3 cm here one big stone.

Here is what I learned.

I have never had an attack. I had to fake an attack and demand an

ultrasound before they found the stone.

The surgeon told me that huge gallstones rarely get stuck and would

probably cause no problem.

He recommended waiting and see approach.

He admitted that laproscopy would be difficult, they would sratr that

way but they reserved the right to convert over toa full procedure if

necessary.

Since the full procedure requires 6 weeks recovery at home, I just

could not take the chance with my jon being away that long.

____

So, I started using Chaing's chinese herbs to dissolve the

stone. My plan is to wait 6 months and get another ultrasound and

see if it is shrinking. When I get it small enough I plan to do a

flush.

I may be optimistic, but its the only solution that makes sense to me.
