Dear Amy: Add 2 more to your Maine list! When people hear I have lyme,

they immediately mention 2 other people who have or had it - both of

which got it in Maine! And, I got mine in NH, which is close by.

Hey Val, glad you had a great vacation!

You know, last year you'd been exercising your butt off. I was amazed

when I saw you bending over to pick stuff up at the pool, a feat I

accomplished much later, probably because I had postponed the pool PT

on account of toenail surgery, etc.

I once read that one should exercise to do the sport, not do the sport

for exercise, and I think that can include things like gardening,

hiking, etc.

Not that I've been great in the workout area myself lately. So much

mulching, mowing, etc., so little energy!
