I was wondering how long it takes before the mood swings and such start

when doing the 5 ml every three weeks?

5ml? Is that at least 100mg/ml? Still 500mg is a lot for even every 3 weeks. His

swings will be huge. Everyone is different but probably after about 2 weeks his

levels will drop enough to definately tell the difference.

I am not sure what the dose is 5ml's is not the dose we are use to in T shots we

do them in mgs. Most testosterone comes in viles of 200mgs/ml and the vile

holds 10ml's. So this shot would be dam big 1000mgs. Or if he is using

100mgs/ml this is still a dam big shit 5ml's would = 500mgs. This can't be if

it is his Dr. is giving him dose's that Bodybuilders use when doing steroids.

Also doing shots every 3 weeks is very old and crazy your up after the shot for

about 10 days then your fall back to low by the next one. Also doing shots this

big will drive up his Estradiol when this is to high it takes away from all the

good the testosterone shots do. And will kill his sex life.

We start out doing 100mgs every week on testosterone shots and we find adding

HCG to the shots on the 5th and 6th after the testosterone shot holds us over

until the next shot so we don't have the ups and downs of doing shots every 2 or

3 weeks. This is very old even the AACE Guidelines say on page 11 to do shots

every 7 to 10 days here is a link read for your self.

Tell him to do his own shots it's the low cost of TRT there is.

administer testosterone 2% cream easier and get the same results.

Is anyone else using this medication?

About 10 yrs ago I used it about 3 yrs before the patch come out then I used

Androgel. My BCBS would not pay for the compounded cream when the patch come

out. I did much better on the cream when I switched back to shots but this time

every week. I called Collage Pharmacy and asked them how my dose of cream

compaired to 10 grams of Androgel and they told me my cream was 2x's stronger no

wonder I did better on the creams.
