Guest guest
Awesome, tomubl, apparently you have found a possible replacement for arimidex, tamoxifen, DIM, in the form of " white button mushrooms " , how much is yet unknown, perhaps we here on this board can offer some insight, in the form of " how much " . DIM if my memory is still working, are extracts from crux vege's, brocolli. Problem with " DIM " is how much do those little pills contain, since noone follows up on health food store items to determine what they really contain. The Department of Nutrition explored several types of mushrooms for their ability to inhibite aramatase, they selected white button mushes because of all year availability and low costs. Albeit, " stuffing mushrooms, were the most potent aramatase inhibitors. I take on average one to two tabs arimidex per week w/ half cc of TC. So how many white button mushes will do the same? one mushee, one can mushee, or five gallon mushee's? thanks for bringing this information to light. kind regards david h Natural Aramotose Inhibitors Comments Please " A 50% inhibition of aromatase activity was achieved with 50 µL of 7.5XH2O mushroom extract. The active component in the mushroom extract appeared to be water soluble and heat stable. Of the other extracts evaluated, celery had a modest inhibitory effect. Guest guest
I cycle about a dozen different natural supplements to keep my T levels in the upper normal range. Since I rarely use any single herb more than a day or two in a row, I avoid building up a tolerance. This system has worked really well for me at boosting testosterone levels. Unfortunately, sometimes it works too well. I can always tell when conversion of testosterone into estrogen has clicked into high gear, because my nipples start to get sore. This doesn't happen too often now that I've gotten my dosages down, but when it does I take it pretty seriously. I use four different supplements to control the estrogen, which all work in slightly different ways. Chrysin, Nettle Root extract (not leaf), DIM, and Zinc. Chrysin, nettle root, and zinc all work as aromatase inhibitors. When I get an estrogen hit, I'll play around with these three until I get it my E levels down. DIM is not an aromatase inhibitor, so it won't stop the conversion of test into estrogen. It does stop the growth of estrogen receptor cells in breast tissue, so I use it to prevent Gyno. So far so good! I've also found that DIM is really effective at mitigating the testosterone hit that comes along with chemical exposure, as long as you take it before the exposure. I always dose with DIM before hitting the pollution infested freeways here in LA, and it definitely helps. I remember reading about white button mushroom extract when this story hit the bodybuilding forums a while back. I looked for some at the time, but didn't have any luck. Anyone know of a source? Cheers! Mark http://www.boost-your-low-testosterone.com/
Guest guest
Mark, I may have a source for white mushroom extract soonest and I will keep you informed. I think the most difficult part of estrogen balance is monitoring since the labs take forever to get back. It is a real shame that a company hasn't developed some form of test strip or meter or some home evaluation method to at least give you a general idea as to where your estradiol and hopefully E1 and E3 as well. Maybe someone will see a need and fill it, seems like there would be a huge market. Never knew about Chrysin, NEttle and Zinc...thanks Tom > > I cycle about a dozen different natural supplements to keep my T levels in the upper normal range. Guest guest
I use Arimidex was using Indolplex/DIM this worked well and I took Zinc. E2 goes up and down because of Diet and many other things. I just keep a log on how I feel when I start to go to high I get a rash between my little toe on just one foot. Then my nipples get hard and sore If I let this go then my libido falls and I get ED that a pill will not help. In time I start to get Panic Attacks in the middle of the night. I start to look Red on the upper part of my body and face and feel hot. To low my ED and libido starts up and my joints click and hurt with some bad brain fog. I Gage my E2 levels by my morning wood as long as I have them I know my levels are good. When taking DIM or Arimidex the first thing to come back is wood that later if it goes away your E2 is going to low. So I stop what I am taking until my wood comes back that day I go back on what I am using but cut the dose. In all the yrs. I have been doing this my E2 never stays the same it goes up and down and I need to adjust the dose to keep my morning wood going. When my E2 was to high I had slow voiding it made my prostate enlarge. I had one bladder infection after the other nothing worked. My Uro did sugary I call this a ream job but this was hell and in a yr. my voiding slowed down again all this time it was high E2. Guest guest
Thanks for making my balls twitch Phil, sounds very painful. I had a scope of my bladder done once. The doctor assured me that y urethra was capable of expanding 2.5 times. I asked him if I was suppose to be comforted by that knowledge! It felt like a propeller spinning inside of the bladder. > > > > > > I cycle about a dozen different natural supplements to > > keep my T levels in the upper normal range. > > > > > > Since I rarely use any single herb more than a day or > > two in a row, I avoid building up a tolerance. > > > > > > This system has worked really well for me at boosting > > testosterone levels. > > > > > > > > > Unfortunately, sometimes it works too well. > > > > > > I can always tell when conversion of testosterone into > > estrogen has clicked into high gear, because my nipples > > start to get sore. > > > > > > This doesn't happen too often now that I've > > gotten my dosages down, but when it does I take it pretty > > seriously. > > > > > > I use four different supplements to control the > > estrogen, which all work in slightly different ways. > > > > > > Chrysin, Nettle Root extract (not leaf), DIM, and > > Zinc. > > > > > > Chrysin, nettle root, and zinc all work as aromatase > > inhibitors. Guest guest
Mark, Please share your regiment of how you apply the Chrysin, nettle root, and zinc. What does play around with mean specifically and what do you use as a gauge? Guest guest
david, actually the hospital that conducted the clinical trial had a 500mg tablet made for a lab in Cali. I am trying to work with extraction companies right now. Nothing is happening in the states all in china.....more later > > Awesome, tomubl, apparently you have found a possible replacement for > arimidex, tamoxifen, DIM, in the form of " white button mushrooms " , how much > is yet unknown, perhaps we here on this board can offer some insight, in the > form of " how much " . Guest guest
When I had this ream job on my prostate it was not all that bad but when I come home I was told not to do anything for 3 weeks. Then I was told I could go back to normal like walking and going back to work. Well I come home for the Dr.'s went for a short walk started bleeding into my bladder and this plugged me up so I could not void. Now I had to go into the ER and the Dr. met me there he worked his butt off trying to get the blood clots flushed out of my bladder. I was never in so much pain never would I tell someone to have this done. My brother started having problems with his prostate and I told him to have his E2 checked he did and was very high. Getting it down fixed his prostate it went back down.
