Guest guest
Phil or anybody else- I have been on androgel and hcg for about 8 or 9 years. I turn 44 this Monday. My low t is secondary and idiopathic. I have had blood in the urine for about 2 years (started out as visible and now is microscopic.) I've done ultrasounds, the test with the camera in the peter (horrible...request a higher dose of valium if asked to do this) and Cat scans with dye and x-rays. General sent me to urologist, again, and now going to see a nephrologist. I'm assuming this is seperate from my low t and treatments- but all the docs seem scared of my HRT. Anybody ever heard of complications w the kidneys as a result of low t or HRT? With HRT, I learned quickly that I am in charge of my care and some of these docs have to be not only educated but put in their place. I'm failing to find much on the web drawing a correlation with low t, hrt and kidney problems. Urologist says it's my kidneys and that I have too much protien and red blood cells in my urine.
