Guest guest
This may sound ill-informed, but I wanted to ask, if you had a hormone deficiency but are still young (say <30 or <26), can't you get hormone supplementation and finish your sexual maturation (all of it)? What would be preventing all of you from developing completely? Are some forms of hypogonadism " cureable " and some aren't? Which ones? No offense to anyone and please tell me any experiences. Guest guest
Hello and welcome. I was diagnosed at 28 with Hypogandism. After the tests and look at my testicles, docs realized I dealt with this at birth and was miss diagnosed as a child. I asked Endo doctors if I start this TRT, will I then go through puberty, in hopes, my penis and testicles would mature more. TRT doesn't work that way. TRT will provide the necessary testosterone your body doesn't produce naturally, it will help the bones become stronger, it will help with erections providing no other preexisting condition is causing ED, and it can help with other biological / emotional factors. After suffering for a long time with my self image, mental health, etc, I can relate to your concerns, but unfortunately, ER isn't going to make the difference in whether your penis and testicles grow. In fact, T makes your testicles decline in size. You can try penis exercises by doing a google search to lengthen your penis.. There are many free stuff with forums out there. You can try HCG to possibility improve on your testicles size and width. Before whatever, talk with your doctor. If you want to talk further I am available. Take care and I hope this helped. Guest guest
Everything I've read says people who have already went through puberty - even if only partially - will not get any further increase in their penis size unless they take androgens around pubertal age. However there are a few people on here who are XXY with a very small penis (<4 inches erect) who have reported an increase in penis size (mainly girth only with marginal length increase) on TRT providing high end of scale - who's to know if they are lying though....there are always possibilities in medicine as no-one has a complete understanding of vast majority of disorders but it would seem highly unlikely you would have further penis growth on TRT - most struggle to grow a beard even on TRT! I have read an individual's response to TRT on the prostate etc is dependant on CAG length - there is no doubt many other factors we don't even know about > > > > This may sound ill-informed, but I wanted to ask, if you had a > hormone > > deficiency but are still young (say <30 or <26), can't you get > hormone > > supplementation and finish your sexual maturation (all of it)? > > > > What would be preventing all of you from developing completely? Guest guest
Normal penis size in just about all medical literature is 5-7 inches in length and about 4.5-5.5 inches in girth (erect of course) I have been hypogonadal since puberty I believe or at least always had low TT and I fall into bottom of range The penis first increases in length at puberty (tanner stage 2 or something like that) then increases in phallus size (girth) much in the same way testosterone plays a role in muscle development around this age > > > > > > > > This may sound ill-informed, but I wanted to ask, if you had a > > > hormone > > > > deficiency but are still young (say <30 or <26), can't you get > > > hormone > > > > supplementation and finish your sexual maturation (all of it)? > > > > > > > > What would be preventing all of you from developing completely? > > Are > > > > some forms of hypogonadism " cureable " and some aren't? Hi, since going on TRT if I told people I knew about my sex life they'd say I was lying... NO 53 year old man can have sex 2-3 times on friday night, all day saturday afternoon (2pm until 7pm when we break for dinner and another hour of play at bedtime around 10pm), 3-4 times sunday afternoon, another sunday night and another Monday night (and well by then test levels are dropping a bit and they're work nights so wife is grading papers so I let her be...) I do my shot on Thursday AM btw... and do 10mg of cialis Saturday am noonish (we've got Saturday afternoons reserved for playtime). Testosterone definitely helps confidence... and a little cialis makes me good for 36+ hours of as much play and wife and I can stand :-} now I wish it made me BIGGER... and well it may by fractions of an inch (just inflated harder)... but it's HOW you use it now how big it is... my wife comes the first time before our clothes are off... it's all about technique... and being an unselfish lover... focus on your partner, don't worry about yourself (you don't need the stress), and I've found that she'll be happy... and if she's happy you're happy ;-}

Is this because they haven't start puberty? Are the people with hormone issues while in puberty the ones who don't develop? If puberty is stopped or slowed down, and if you haven't finished developing before puberty ends, you never will? Why does puberty stop exactly? Is it aging or is it the body deciding you have reached completion like I originally thought? There isn't a ton of literature on this. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing, but some members here at not yet 40 and ED issues more or less will come later. Some of us have been dealing with this since childhood. I would love to be married, but I am learning how to better socialize, something hypogandism took away. So its more psychological than the low T itself. The psychological aspect of believing, an average or below average penis and testicles will be enough for every relationship and sex sitation you are in. TRT has helped me, but for the aspects of hypgandism life T cannot help me with, I must help myself and I am. The woman who discarded what should have been my boy at seven months after he was stillbirth, has decided to get engaged and then make me seem like I cannot get anyone else on her myspace page. She flirted with different men, drank while pregnant twice I know of, never let me confirm with her doctors she was even pregnant, and now made me look stupid as if the relationship ending was my fault to others.... That T cannot help me overcome, but in time I will. THe more I socialize and do well in college at 31, the more I will put myself in better social relationships. So yea, I want to be married and I knew she wasn't the one for me, but boy does ending a relationship hurt. Now, I have to believe that another woman will accept my small penis, testicles, and etc.... Until then I will continue to strieve for better and not allow this to defeat me. Guest guest
Hey, I never mentioned TRT makes anything larger. That cheap my doctor told me about but I never believed it. After researching penis execerises are the way to go but they take longer. Also and importantly, finding a woman that will accept you as a man and lover. Even if you cannot do certain stuff, its cool just make sure you are happy and treat her right. " unless maybe the person has been primary hypo all their life and only went through partial puberty (or not at all)..maybe then if TRT given young enough it would affect the penis to some degree...of course this would assume reasonably high level of TT rather than just about 500ng/dL with e2 in check also I wonder how low TT for someone to be completely infertile since some on this forum have reported having kids with their TT about the 300 ng/dL mark - I would think this would be unusual without fertility treatment like sperm injection (ICSI) " . I was born with primary and had to suffer until a few years ago without TRT.. I can relate to hating what I was because I believed I was " short-changed " which I was. Life doesnt wait for anyone. Now I am learning how to accept and move forward. The child aspect of this is huge to me. I had the chance and from what I know I did conceive. What happened afterward I sitll grieve about. Of course I feel that may have been my " only chance " , but after seeing a new Endo, once I find the right woman, be in a committed relationship and then discuss conception, I will simply try BEFORE I get my Endo doctor involved with infertitity medications. But for some men they cannot conceive. I hope once life decides I am ready, I will and with the right healthy woman. I still miss the son I should have had, I will never forget him. Have hope men. Guest guest
uu1845 Not sure I know what you mean by " cannot do certain stuff " ? Very sorry to hear about still birth your ex had - I'm not sure sperm would have nything to do with it though since it just fertilises the egg (or not) but I don't know enough about it to say for sure. Are you no on hCG whilst on TRT? and have semen analysis test before TRT? It sounds like you have klinefelters since it accounts for about 80% primary cases and presents at puberty which does not progress completely as normal. This is what I have experienced but do not know what the cause of my low T is just yet although I suspect primary cause due to small testicles and normal LH & FSh values. I have also had issues with having smaller penis and testicles than I should have (only 5 inches erect measured accurately) but would rather have more girth than length. Don't know why you would have issues if you had average sized penis provided you can function properly? When I was 19 I could get strong erections with ease and for 1hr easy and would love to know what my testosterone and estradiol levels were then although don't imagine they could have been all that greater than now (300ng/dL TT and 5 pg/mL e2) - I'm only 29 and I'm sure I should still feel almost the same as when I did when 19 since I eat well and am pretty fit (no fat at all although probably partly due to low hormone levels since always been very thin) Also you mention you have had pyschological issues like social problems (fitting in with people your own age about 31) and confidence issues but yet TRT benefited you - surely if its not helped your confidence with your appearance, performance 'capabilities' then what has it helped you with? Libido, muscle and bone mass, erections (both frequency & strength), facial hair or what? > > > > > > > > Lets say I would like to throw all porn actors in jail for crimes > > > against the stereotypes, and expectations certain men must > endure. > > > Even if my now ex(odd typing it) said my penis was good and got > her > > > off, still lock all the confident guys up ASAP! > > > > Hi, > > > > since going on TRT if I told people I knew about my sex life they'd > > say I was lying... > > > > NO 53 year old man can have sex 2-3 times on friday night, all day > > saturday afternoon (2pm until 7pm when we break for dinner and > another > > hour of play at bedtime around 10pm), 3-4 times sunday afternoon, > > another sunday night and another Monday night (and well by then test > > levels are dropping a bit and they're work nights so wife is grading > > papers so I let her be...) > > > > I do my shot on Thursday AM btw... and do 10mg of cialis Saturday am > > noonish (we've got Saturday afternoons reserved for playtime). > > > > Testosterone definitely helps confidence.. . and a little cialis > makes > > me good for 36+ hours of as much play and wife and I can stand :-} > > > > now I wish it made me BIGGER... and well it may by fractions of an > > inch (just inflated harder)... but it's HOW you use it now how big > it > > is... > > > > my wife comes the first time before our clothes are off... it's all > > about technique... and being an unselfish lover... focus on your > > partner, don't worry about yourself (you don't need the stress), and > > I've found that she'll be happy... and if she's happy you're > happy ;-} > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I tried to ask you, but I don't think it went through. I was wondering something cause I've read about people, in their late teens who haven't started puberty, were treated and the article said that they sexually matured fully. Are you saying that people who have a hormone defiency during puberty can experience a lack of development because puberty ends before they can finish? Because they either slowed down or have stopped? I thought that as long as puberty starts and their is no complete stoppage, that you will finish. I keep looking for articles about this, and most I find are about females. I would also like to know what causes puberty to end. Is it aging? Aging of what? > > Everything I've read says people who have already went through > puberty - > even if only partially - will not get any further increase in their > penis size unless they take androgens around pubertal age. > > However there are a few people on here who are XXY with a very small > penis (<4 inches erect) who have reported an increase in penis size > (mainly girth only with marginal length increase) on TRT providing > high > end of scale - who's to know if they are lying though....there are > always possibilities in medicine as no-one has a complete > understanding > of vast majority of disorders but it would seem highly unlikely you > would have further penis growth on TRT - most struggle to grow a > beard > even on TRT! > > I have read an individual's response to TRT on the prostate etc is > dependant > on CAG length - there is no doubt many other factors we don't even > know > about > > >
Guest guest
thanks for sharing! This is what I like to read, more personal stories from hypogandism. I did the genetic testing and I am normal genetically. I actually cried when they said I was, because after researching XXY, I thought it fit. This was in '03. I still didn't know about hypogandism. I was born or very very early in my life, I pulled up one of my testicles. Both testicles were small and T just makes that situation smaller. At 10 I had the surgery to " pull down " a testicle which work, the problem was no one checked my hormonal levels. Docs just thought it was a situation of recent rather than a situation I dealt with since birth. " Certain stuff " like sexual, like if a woman is BBW and you want to perform from behind.. Oh from the sides... Penis may not stretch so far Chris. I should have tried them, but I shy away. Next time I guess. If you have had your testicles not function for a long period of time, infertility could occur. Infertility is a side effect of primary hypogandism. I was told my an Endo, it would be a " miracle " if I could conceive simply by looking at the LH and FSH results. I really do want to conceive, it would make my prior suffering be finally lifted from my life. I grew up passive, insightful, knowing right from wrong, shy, quiet, and other emotions but I was somewhat sociable. I could interact with others and did so on jobs. I am being more out-going at school. That took about 5 years of therapy and 2 years of recent to finally realize meds can only take me so far... the rest is my job emotionally. But I do have a sexual fear, another woman will not be so accepting of my penis and testicles. I think this is why I am taking it so hard with the ex being engaged. Even if she was the wrong person for me, and did bad stuff I had her to reassure me all was fine. I have to trust another woman to do the same and to know, I can satisfy her.. I know size doesn't matter to every female. I am doing my part and finally getting serious with PE. Along with improving on me. I treated my ex like I knew I could, but I just couldn't show her the emotion especially in public, I should have. I was like.. for my first time.. is she it? She has issues and overweight and another county... The person she is with have more issues than her, but I have to realize she isn't the only one for me. I have value despite average or less than..... How are you dating wise Chris? HCG will be further discussed with my Endo as a way to improve the size of my testicles and over all well being. HCG cannot stimulate my testicles unfortunately to produce sperm. Tests I took in '06 showed my LH & FSH were low. I hope the tests I took recently shows they are around normal. At least Ill know, I could have a chance to conceive without problems or fear. I have facial hair and stuff. Please share some more. Guest guest
--- <girl commentary> I was the manager of an 'Adult Store' for a few years and had a customer come in to buy a 'cyberskin penis extention' every couple months. He told me he didn't have much in the penis department and his wife wanted something more, so if he could buy a toy to wear that increased his length and girth he was happy to do so to give her a good time. He was very comfortable w/ his way of dealing w/ what cards nature dealt him and I say Bravo!! I agree that the pornstars megadicks place alot of pressure on less monsterly endowed men, but it is similar to us gals having to live up to actress or 'cosmo' body images or so many men lusting after same. Difference is, girls (exceptions happen) realllllly don't want huge penises. Getting your cervix banged is painful. Eye candy is fun on occasion, no different than men! I had a lover many years ago who was only about 4 " , he said in his French accent (a plus!) I do not have zee beeg penis, but I know zat zhere is more zan one way to skeen a cat! and he was right!!!! To be somewhat clinical, while he did not have much to 'enter' with, his rocking, bumping, grinding motion was what was incredible, as well as his touch, and oral talents. Truthfully, afterwards, I did not find myself missing inches...smile Cultivate other talents and confidence!!! Kay finding a woman that will accept you as a man and lover. Even if you cannot do certain stuff, its cool just make sure you are happy and treat her right. > what I'd like to know is how many people bullshit about TRT making > their penis bigger - seems reasonable though that it helps to give > better erections and therefore seems bigger but I doubt very much it > has any effect on flaccid size.... > >
Guest guest
uu1845 few things I don't get from what you say although maybe I'm not picking things up correctly... You said " I am being more out-going at school " and " I am doing my part and finally getting serious with PE " - I thought you were 31 or something from previous post and got your ex pregnant - are you working as a teacher I presume? also you mention that our doc said you would be def be infertile as your LH & FSH were so low....of course they are low if your on TRT ...this is common knowledge and only hCG (LH analogue) and maybe also hMG (FSH analogue) will give you a chance of fathering a child although the longer your on TRT your chance is reduced so I recommend you get hCG as matter of urgency if you want some chance of having a kid. Only small amount of hCG needs to be taken alongside TRT another important point - what type of karotype test did you have to rule out klinefelters? not every test is full proof and far from everything is known about klinefelters. In a lot of cases for example variants of XXY exist and males have some normal XY cells and some XXY cells - if you have blood karotype I believe that is more accurate than tissue karotype however I am not an expert in genetics. as far as dating goes for me I have always had girls tell me I'm good looking and they show interest but I'm pretty selective due to my small testicles and also the fear of not being able to perform stops me from having more sexual encounters - the amount of girls I could have had if it not been for this testosterone deficiency is a killer and worse still most doctors are not even aware of it. I was with seriously hot girl for 6 years and it went pear shaped due to my slight ED which slowly got worse during my mid twenties (29 now) as kept losing my erection after 3 or 4 mins - not a good thing for the old confidence thats for sure I've been reading and documenting as much as I can before I make another trip to the doc to demand a diagnosis and treatment - if I hadn't read up what I have done already and just went to the doc w/o knowing what I do now I'd be much worse off because I would've accepted whatever I was told as I would not know any better - I want my fertility (assuming I have that) preserved as much as poss though if on TRT which means getting hCG which in turn also means getting arimidex - I will need to be prepared to have one hell of a struggle on my hands but with my own research hopefully I'll stand a chance. I also have Cialis prescribed through internet doc (so not fake pills) but very costly and only helps to a degree. I function much better in summer than in winter and must be due to general well being being better in summer and seeing much more chicks in short skirts Exercise especially cardio work def helps function in a number of ways and I recently read not a lot of TT is needed for an erection as endothelial function is most important due to blood vessels in penis being much smaller than anywhere else in body. Of course testosterone is very important for endothelial funcion as well and I wonder how much a part it has in being able to keep erections for a period of time since I have no problem whatsoever in getting an erection initially. Personally out of all the natural stuff I find nuts (high in L-arginine) and pommegranate juice help me a lot - most supplements I reckon are a waste of time - the body is much more able to absorb the right vitamins and minerals from foods not synthetic pills - in saying that some guys are smarter than the rest of us as they are making a killing out of selling these products in the same way wonder creams are sold to girls we are sold muscle building products > > thanks for sharing! I was like.. for my first time.. is she it? Guest guest
Thank you for commenting. Its rare I will accept a woman's point of view without thinking critically, but your comments made sense. I have come to figure most women in porn do not enjoy what they do and most are very mentally sick (in a compassionate and humane way). After spending so much of my life afraid due to this disorder, I met someone BBW and we had sex many times. Although I didnt feel the way I should toward her about it, the connection, she never said a bad thing about me, but she was aware I didnt try different positions. She was mainly on top, and she enjoyed herself. I understand from a womans point of view, your words and they are appreciated. Now she has moved on, that acceptance of my body isn't there and I have to start over again when I meet someone else and decide (no time soon) about sex. I think this time hopefully, I will not reveal so much about my disorder, rather let it go. I self evaluated myself and figured I am a very good catch, its unfortunately she was sick herself and never had a man treat her and do for her without asking anything in return, the way I did. Now she trashes me on her myspace with her new addicted-schizo-fianace. Thats life. Well, thanks and continue to voice from a womans point of view. Guest guest
Hey I am not XXY. I don't know which genetic test I took, but I am not. I don't have the body makeup nor the testicles. I am just a student trying to find my place in the world of being a professional. At least you have your choices in ladies. I tend to stay away from the ones that must dress hot. Intelligence, being yourself, adventurous, shy, somewhat confident in where you would like your life to head, compassionate, humane, and the need to help others is more important to me than what a woman appearance is. That type of woman is surely accepting and giving as well. I have lost 45 pounds since Nov, I was 284 last time I saw my now ex, now I am 238. I still have that 38 to go by april. I will get there. I am doing the best I can along with PE, to make my life better so I can attract someone compatible. If you want to know about the ex and pregnancy let me know, other than that I will not discuss it. I still grieve and it feels worst now she is " engaged " and pretty much forgotten she was pregnant for 7 months. If you lived in NYC, I would buy you a drink if you drank Chris. I don't drink.. Guest guest
uu1845 If you don't have small testicles then likely your are not XXY but don't assume your not either if you have small testicles as most who have this genetic condition live their life without knowing. Normally people will be taller than average and be either very thin or have bit of fat around the waist and maybe gyno also with reduced body and facial hair as I'm sure you know already. Forget about your ex and move on - if she has forgotton already about being pregnant why the hell are you letting it get to you. Easier said than done to let go of feelings but quicker you get it out of your mind the better for you. thanks for offer of drink but I stay in UK anyway > > Hey I am not XXY. Guest guest
Cheers for the UK. Not that easy bro to forget. I am human, and I will never forget about the son I should have had. I take it as a personal blow she has moved on to someone who will not put pressure on her to be a mom to her children and other stuff. I did and it was a tug of war. I shouldnt but I take it personally. It hurts i havent moved on yet, but I am selective and she isnt. I have higher standards of dating than her. I am more mentally healthier to stay alone if that person and me are not on the same level in life. Yet, I do love her, now its too late. Despite how she handled him being stillbirth, and how she didnt call me rather let the M.E. office discard him I still love her. Thats life. Well I look forward in meeting someone soon.
