Guest guest
You would need to go at least 6 weeks before doing your 100mgs of T shots a week. One thing that might have happened is your estradiol when way up after the Nebido shot. So take the DIM one tablet per day at dinner when your morning wood comes back you will know it was to high. Keep taking the DIM but if your wood stops stop the DIM you might be going down to low. When your wood comes back that day go back on the DIM but cut the tablet in half. That is if your taking Indolplex/Dim. I would give the Nebido some time I have read guys are doing good on it in the UK. Guest guest
Hi Phil, Nebido claims to restore T levels to normal range during a period of 12 weeks. Not to a stable high level. I need my levels to be around 700-800 stable. I can't wait more 3 months only to discover that it is working moderatly. I read that Nebido is released for about 21 days after the injection. So I'd expect that after 1 week after injection, I'd be able to at least have sex. I mean, if I feel this bad right now, then when the slow-release is over, testosterone will go even lower. Estradiol might be the cause, but I don't think so. I think I gave Nebido a chance to raise my T enough for me not to have symptoms. I read some studies about Nebido, and usually the variations were from 800 to 400 during the 3-month injection period. I'm more interested in fine-tuning my T levels so that I keep them always in the top third of the range. So I'll be doing blood tests, and for the first 6 weeks maybe only injecting 50mgs of T shots a week. > > > From: ttwenties <ttwenties@...> > > Subject: 1 week on Nebido, jumping off > > > > Date: Monday, April 27, 2009, 7:21 PM > > Hi all! > > Can't say I'm glad to be posting here again about > > hormones. Guest guest
When they first started using this in the UK guys felt the same way that it does not work or get levels up high enough. One thing you can do is get some gels of compounded creams that you can use everyday. You can add this right away one or 2 Dr.'s did this to keep his men feeling better on Nebido. If you can get or do gels you better off your levels will be the same from day to day. Guest guest
yeah gels are ok, but I read that they convert to DHT and Estrogen much more than shots. Besides being much more messy. I prefer to do shots. I think you also do it. So instead of a small amount of gel concurrently with Nebido, for now I think I could take 50mgs per week and see how that makes me feel. It's all testosterone in the end, and I'll try to control with DIM. I'll keep Arimidex as a last resort if things get out of hand. I don't think it will, on weekly shots. > > > > > > > From: ttwenties <ttwenties@> > > > > Subject: 1 week on Nebido, jumping > > off > > > > > > > > Date: Monday, April 27, 2009, 7:21 PM > > > > Hi all! > > > > Can't say I'm glad to be posting here > > again about > > > > hormones. Guest guest
Some of us have big problems with estradiol I am one of them. I take a .5 mg. 1/2 a pill of arimidex every 4 days. My wood is great but I have lost a lot of weight so now I find my estradiol is a little less of a problem. I can't tell you how the shot will go I myself would not do this to soon the Nebido is slow release and you could end up in very high levels this will stress out your adrenels big time and then your thyroid could act up. Try doing a lower dose if you feel the need 50mgs is to much just after doing a shot of Nebido. Like 25 mgs if you get a feeling like your high after the shot for 3 days your doing to much body builders would get addicted to doing this. Guest guest
" Very high levels " ? I can't have sex now. So you think taking 50mg is risky? Body builders do 250mg per week. The normal protocol of taking 100mg per week even requires the first injection to be of 200mg for loading. So 25mg? That's nothing. The side effect that I can get from doing a normal shot of 100mg at this point is feeling good for once, after almost 6 months of feeling like sh*t. I know you're trying to help, but every time I post about something I intend to do (either by reading a lot in the internet, or by the doctor's advice) there is ALWAYS many people saying not to do, because there is this side-effect or that, or that I should first do another test, or one more blood work. That perhaps if you wait, things would get normal... that perhaps I should do an expensive test for corner cases. I'm done with that, I'll try to do a shot of 100mg, and I'll get bloodwork done before and after. Hopefully I'll feel better and I'll be able to actually have sex, instead of just waiting and debating aroung my every decisions on this matter. > > > > > > > > > > > From: ttwenties <ttwenties@> > > > > > > Subject: 1 week on > > Nebido, jumping > > > > off > > > > > > > > > > > > Date: Monday, April 27, 2009, 7:21 PM > > > > > > Hi all! > > > > > > Can't say I'm glad to be > > posting here > > > > again about > > > > > > hormones. Guest guest
I know how you feel been there done that and after a long time of feeling bad you can't wait to feel better. Body Builders end up on TRT because of doing to much steriods and testosterone is a steriod. You can shut down your Adrenals and mess up your thyroid doing to much or going to high on your levels. This is why I say give it a few weeks to get the Nebido out of your body then do the 100 mgs shots. Some men that start on TRT get a jump in how they feel and this always falls back some. Then then feel TRT is not enough and want more it took me over a yr. to get tuned up most don't feel better for some time after starting TRT. First you need to get up into the right levels that make you feel good and keep your estradiol down. Most of us on TRT end up with high Estradiol and this makes you feel dam bad.
