Guest guest
Dale, This is Susie. I don't know if you remember, but about 1 month ago I had to go to ER for a GB attack. This attack was a couple of weeks after I did a successful cleanse. After a few days and meds, I was okay. Then this last week on Tues. morning I woke up at 4 a.m. in pain. It was another GB attack. I took pain meds and phenergan and road it out at home. I was better until I woke up Fri. morning in pain again, this time worse. So I went to the ER again, had some more demerol and had an ultrasound done. It showed 2 stones at the mouth of the GB. I was desparate enough at that time to have surgery, but the hospital that I went to doesn't have a surgeon yet. He left and they're getting another one in May or June. So I've been in pain even though I'm taking my pain medicine, Lortab, and the phenergan to fight nausea. I'm sure that these gallstones must be causing some sort of blockage, but I don't think it's a complete blockage. I'm kind of afraid to do the cleanse because of how I feel being sick and all and not being prepared. However, I just drank a cup of Epsom Salts just a few minutes ago thinking that somehow this might help. Do you have any suggestions? The pain med does help, but I do still feel the gallstones sticking a little when I move a certain way. I don't want to have surgery. I've fought too hard for too long, but it's looking like that I may have to. Thanks, Susie
Guest guest
Dale, Thanks for your response. I'm actually feeling somewhat better today. Still sore, but I'm laying off any huge meals or anything like that, just eating light. Plus I'm on meds at this time. When I had the attack the second time, I ate a chinese chicken salad that I fixed for dinner, plus one eggroll. However, I've eaten these kind of eggrolls before and no problem. We don't fry them. I think that those two stones just decided to move. But I've been thinking today that I want to do the cleanse again if I can. I have to be stronger first and be off the antibiotics. So I've been upping my organic apple juice and going to try again soon, that is, if I don't have another severe attack in the meantime. I've tried so hard, just want to stop if I can help it. When you're in the middle of an attack, you want to say, Take the darn thing out!!! You know how it is? But the ER doc also said to me that maybe you can pass these two stones. I'm going to try. Guest guest
Wow!!!!! sorry to be so late. I haven't been as regular at reading the group mail of late because of my work. I sure hope you're doing good now and have got a control over what's happened. Do you have any idea of what you may have been eating that may have brought on the attacks? I would suggest castor oil packs in abundance. It would really be good too if you had access to colonics and especially if they also used medical grade ozone by insufflating it with the colonic. This gets oxygen to the organs at an accelerated rate. I hope this isn't too much of a setback as you have been a means of great support for me and I hope you can maintain your gallbladder. But, remember too that not all can do so. I may in time have to have mine taken out, but for the time being, I really am thankful for what I've been able to do with the flushes and diet and have really really been grateful for what you have been able to do too. " Dale, I am surprised to read your post. Can't flushes work to get the stones out, that one day you may have to have taken out your gb. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Removing stones is one thing but a diseased gallbladder and body is another. Some people's bodies do not totally heal to do as they are supposed to do. Even after getting out gallstones there is nothing to say they will not reform, and as we grow older this becomes even more prevalent. Because of your past posts I can appreciate the factious nature of your question beings as if the flush is a cure all because of the nature of people's desires. It isn't for all people just as various other modalities of medical intervention are not for all people. We are, despite all desire to the contrary, moving through this time in imperfect human bodies, subject to various pains and discomforts of which some can be by heredity or by lifestyle. We don't hold the flush to be a cure all as you would like others to think we do. It is a means to an end, as we have to keep working on good health as long as we're alive. But, at this time and in this world situation we are dying, and it's just a matter of how fast or slow we go about that process by what we do to take care of the body we have. I just try to be realistic about the liver and gallbladder's function and especially since I've had Hepatitis C in the past. The liver is the main contributor to the health of the whole body and if it's not functioning then other organs that have been compromised in the past stand the chance of being the first on the list of the ones that will fail.
