Hi and Welcome,

Your in the right place you did not say what kind of Testosterone shot or how

big it was. A good Dr. for this will not give very big shots every 2 to 3 weeks

so if your Dr. is doing this it's a old way to treat this problem.

Your very young to have this problem what was the medication that caused this

and is it permanent or if you let the med get out of your body will your levels

go back up. Going on TRT is for life the longer your on it the less of a Chance

you have to come off it and go back to making you own.

When men start on TRT doing shots it takes about 4 days for the shot to peak

reach it's highest levels then it starts going down this is way we don't do

shots every 2 or 3 weeks. Most do them 100 mgs every week.

A lot of good Dr.'s will give the first shot as a buster shot 200 mgs to jump

start you then teach you how to do your own shots 100 mgs a week.

Can you get a copy of your labs and post them with the units and ranges if your

Dr. did not test your Estradiol and it's to high the testosterone shot is going

to have a hard time making you feel better.

High levels of Estradiol take away from your body the good Testosterone does.

Most men start on Androgel or Testim this is a gel you put on every morning over

your upper arms and shoulders and down your back as far as you can reach. Gels

act like your body's own Testosterone your levels go up in about 4 hrs. then

fall by bedtime. This is what your body does not on TRT men start with 5 grams

a day then test in 2 weeks to be sure the gels are getting through your skin and

getting your levels up. Some men need more Gels 7.5 to 10 grams. This is said

to work the best for men that can us and afford it.

I pray your Dr. tested you to find out why your low and is up on this most Dr.'s

are not and all they know is what the drug reps tell them.

We have at the home page on the left side a links and files section full of info

about this. You need to get your Total T levels up into the upper 1/3 of your

labs range for a young man and to keep your Estradiol down to about 20 pg/ml

it's high Estradiol that can make you feel fatigue, Kill your libido give you ED

and feeling for panic. Some men feel hot and sweat all day and night with this.

You can get sore and hard nipples this is in most men.

Here are some links to help you understand about this.

This link is to Dr. Gordens site read and watch the Videos.

http://www.thehiddendisease.com/

This link is to the AACE Guidelines on page 11 it states to do shots every 7 to

10 days.

http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf

If your Dr. is not up on this you can ask him if he will work with Dr. over

the phone to test and treat you doing this your Dr. will learn about this and

get you tuned up.

www.allthingsmale.com

When you go there read his free treatment articles TRT: A Recipe for Success and

his HCG update. In them are labs you needed and why.

Bottom line here is to get your Testosterone levels up and to keep your

Estradiol levels down to about 20 pg/ml. To make sure your Cortisol levels were

tested along with your Thyroid. A lot of men have Adrenal Fatigue and Thyroid

Problems. When you have all the hormones leveled off then your body will start

to undo the damage done by low hormones and you start to feel better and better

a little everyday it's a slow process.

Give it time... Although your levels should peak within three days, and you

will feel somewhat better, it may take three months for the full effect to be

felt.

I've been on TRT nearly 2 year and my physical condition improves month to month

even now.

My doctor said it takes a while for your body to recognize that T is available

and to start using it.

Testosterone will affect your well-being at a cellular level. The hormonal

signaling system is complex and inter-related in ways that are not clearly

understood.

Think of your body as a car that has stalled and run out of gas. You just put a

gallon in the tank, got the engine started and are sputtering to the next gas

station.

It will take a few tanks of gas and some freeway driving before you get the cobs

blown out.

It will work and work well. Be patient. Pay attention to diet and exercise.

When you get a burst of energy, put it to good use with exercise while the wind

is at your back.
