If you've seen any body building T injection protocols, you will note

that they are injecting supraphysiological amounts resulting in blood T

levels several times the upper normal limit of the lab reference range.

One could reach a conclusion that teenagers with HIGH testosterone

would have smaller penises. I don't think that is the case. TRT within

normal ranges is NOT going to have this downside. Hence, the reason you

read of no such reports in this forum. Testicular shrinkage however is

a side effect reported here.

I believe you are confusing that with testicular shrinkage. I've never

heard of what you are speaking of.

I think it's due to very high levels of testosterone converting to estradiol as

already noted

in answering my own question but reassuring to know no one on TRT has reported

penis

shrinkage here - some even reporting increase in girth in other posts if

starting therapy

relatively young (30 or younger) but don't personally believe this

I think this matter is more complicated then simply saying " steroids "

caused this. Besides testosterone, there are a variety of anabolic

steroids, such as Stanozolol (which is a DHT derivative), as well as

Nandrolone (Deca-Durabolin) & Boldenone, etc.

The latter two are naturally occurring but in very minute amounts. I

hear about " Deca dick " - supposed shrinkage owing to use of nandrolone-

but not shrinkage from testosterone itself. If problems occur after

nandrolone, this might be due to its conversion to progesterone & /or

blocking DHT conversion.

But I can see how excessive conversion of testosterone to estradiol

could cause ED, lack of nocturnal erections, & gradually cause loss of

penile size.

There are many causes for penile shrinkage but I do not beleive that

TRT is one of them.

In my case it was from low testosterone, peyronies, lack of night

time erections, venous leakage and corporal fibrosis. Testicle

shrinkage is caused by TRT but that is a small price for the benefits

of TRT.

I am considering HCG for testicle shrinkage. Can someone give me the

name of a supplier and the dosage, etc.

Thanks

If I lost an inch from TRT, trust me I would not be on it. I assume T doesn't

work as a steroid in the body. It does shrink the testicles which sucks because

its difficult to explain if you are in an intimate situation,  but  I am

starting  penis exercises  so I'm hoping it works. My only issue with it is, I

have to change my attitude to liking my penis from hating it as I grew up with

due to primary hypogandism.

it's fairly well known that steroids shrink the penis as in

bodybuilders - why do not all

people on TRT report this? I know it shrinks the testicles but surely must have

same

effect as steroids and if not why not?

The body builders have this problem due to aromitase activity which

produces higher levels of E2 assuming that they are using straight T.

Also, the body builders often shut down their own LH and FSH and thus

their testicles are going to shrink.

If T were the problem, why do the endo administer exogenous T to

infants who have underdeveloped penises?

Also, once you get into the steriods that body builders have borrowed

from veteranary medicine, who knows what can happen.

Body builders often give themselves serious ED through taking " decca "

and hence the expression " Decca Dick " .
