Guest guest
Hi I, been on testosterone replacement 100 mg per week Test Cyp for 2 years now being secondary Hypo. I was diagnosed with being secondary hypogonadism with no known cause. I know my balls is working cause Ive been on HCG inections for 3 weeks before starting Testosterone replacement and my blood T went up within the normal range. 1.Do you think I can try quiting the T injections and see if my pituary gland starts working. 2.How long will it take to rid my body of the Testosterone I injected and hopefully starts making its own
Guest guest
No I feel this will only set you back I don't know anyone that did this and it worked. If your secondary you should be doing HCG with your TRT if doing shots do HCG 250 to 500 IU's the 2 days each before your next shot doing this keeps your testis working and all the LH cells in your body and brain. It will pick your levels back up until your next T shot and make your testis go back to work. I have come off TRT 7 times and I was very low on my first set of labs 120 for Total T. After 4 weeks my levels are less then 50 and I am sick as a dog. Each time they did this to me it took me longer to get back when I went back on TRT last time was 6 months before I could go back to work yep it put me off work on sick leave. Here is a cut and paste of a post to me from Dr. at www.allthingsmale.com he was posting this to help me get my Dr. to let me try HCG. ========================================================================= He probably feels that since you suffer primary hypogonadism (I am guessing) there is no use in adding HCG to your protocol. There are several reasons why this is not so. First, you have not lost all Leydig cells, so any HCG you take will stimulate those who still function to produce endogenous testosterone. This will support testicular size. We should not ignore this aesthetic consideration. Next, if he reads my work, he will learn that HPTA-suppressed (as all TRT patients are to some extent) also suffer decreased pregenenolone levels, which is the first step after CHOL in all three hormonal pathways which begin with CHOL. HCG increases pregnenolone production, and therefore restores a more natural balance of our hormones. Next, nearly all TRT patients who add in HCG to their regimens report an increased sense of well-being and also libido. These are genuine quality of life issues. Finally, I just instinctively do not want all those LH receptors (including those we have yet to discover and appreciate) unstimulated.
