Guest guest
Hi- I was planning on posting a similar, but opposite problem. During the pregnancies for each of my 4 kids, I had NO trouble with pain, then, as soon as they were born, back to pain again. Sorry I have no answer for you, I too wondered if being a woman made you more likely to have pain depending on your hormone levels. Guest guest
My gallstones started when I was pregnant so I dont know about the period, by the time my period came back I was having them every few days anyway. Maybe it has something to do with hormones?? That would be interesting to look into. The drs didnt know why it was more common when you are pregnant, it just is, so they say. >From: kblomrich@... >Reply-gallstones >gallstones >Subject: question for the ladies >Date: Mon, 19 May 2003 05:30:13 EDT > >Hi, I have suffered with gallstones for about 10 years, but the pain always >seems to worsen when I have my period.
