Hi- I was planning on posting a similar, but opposite problem. During the

pregnancies for each of my 4 kids, I had NO trouble with pain, then, as soon as

they

were born, back to pain again. Sorry I have no answer for you, I too wondered

if

being a woman made you more likely to have pain depending on your hormone

levels.

My gallstones started when I was pregnant so I dont know about the period,

by the time my period came back I was having them every few days anyway.

Maybe it has something to do with hormones?? That would be interesting to

look into. The drs didnt know why it was more common when you are pregnant,

it just is, so they say.
