Guest guest
Hi Jo, No Saliva tests are not anygood for Sex Hormones you need to redo your Estradiol in blood labs every time I see a man's Saliva test for this it's 10x's to high witch is not possable. I use Saliva to test Cortisol level 4x's in a day to see if levels are off for Adrenal Fatigue. I Don't do supplements for low testosterone and don't see anyone do good on them. If your feeling like this with your levels you need Testosterone and I know of men on in your country. Your low LH shows me you have a problem with your Pituitary most get an MRI on it to see if they have a tumor. I don't feel you have high E2 but check it in a blood test. fggrrrerr <no_reply > wrote: Hi folks, my age is 40 and my symptoms are lack of energy, lack of confidence and erectile dysfunction. And i have problems keeping my weight and body fat down. Half a year ago i ran a blood and saliva test and got these results: Blood test: LH 1,8 mIU ml Range: 0,8 - 7,6 Total Testost: 451 ng dl Range: 200 - 810 Saliva test from September 07: Free Testost: 50,84 pg ml Range: 46,8 - 106,8 Estradiol: 3,36 pg ml Range: 1,01 - 4,15 I then started taking some resveratrol, nettle root, horny goat weed and avena sativa for a couple of months. One month ago i got the results from a second blood test: LH 7.76 mIU ml Range: 0.8 - 7,6 Total Testost: 427 ng dl Range: 200 - 810 So, my LH was well stimulated by the supplements, but my total T dropped a bit. Today I got the results from a saliva test taken the same time as the blood test one month ago. Saliva test from March 08: Free Testost: 34,40 pg ml Range: 46,8 - 106,8 Estradiol: 10,40 pg ml Range: 1,01 - 4,15 I am really concerned about my Estradiol and free T result. Could this be a possible explanation: The nettle root rose my free T and the aromatase enyzmes conversed much of it into estradiol, leading to lowered Free T numbers because of feedback loop. The Resveratrol, acting as a SERM, blocked the estrogen receptors, so that the estradiol could not do too much harm. Indeed I`m not feeling the dramatic rise in estradiol, that occured in the last months, in any form. Actually I`m not feeling good, but then again not worser than half a year ago what one should suspect which such a high e2. I stopped all supplement intake so far. Do You think I should restart with resveratrol? Or should I try some DIM to get the E2 down? And some zinc but how much? I can`t get any script medication here in Germany, so no arimidex or liquid equivalent. I just can order supplements. Guest guest
The pituitary secrete luteinizing hormone (LH), which then prompts the Leydig cells in the testes to produce testosterone. Taking HCG acts like LH making your testis make Testosterone. If your tests show your very low on this LH and low on T with good estradiol levels this can mean your pituitary is not working and one should have an MRI on it to see if there are tumors. Men on TRT the brain sees the add T and stops sending the LH message to the Testis. Dr. says this about it. ==================================================== You have not lost all Leydig cells on TRT, so any HCG you take will stimulate those who still function to produce endogenous testosterone. This will support testicular size. We should not ignore this aesthetic consideration. Next, if he reads my work, he will learn that HPTA-suppressed (as all TRT patients are to some extent) also suffer decreased pregenenolone levels, which is the first step after CHOL in all three hormonal pathways which begin with CHOL. HCG increases pregnenolone production, and therefore restores a more natural balance of our hormones. Next, nearly all TRT patients who add in HCG to their regimens report an increased sense of well-being and also libido. These are genuine quality of life issues. Finally, I just instinctively do not want all those LH receptors (including those we have yet to discover and appreciate) unstimulated. joe <jadonahuejr@...> wrote: What is the LH lab test. Guest guest
Your balls shrinking is a good sign that you need HCG, but it would be a shame to have to wait for that to happen before starting the stuff.
