Guest guest
Sorry that I'm having so many questions. I'm reading the new book by s Moritz entitled " The Amazing Liver Cleanse, " and he's giving the instructions on how to do the cleanse. It's all about the same as what I've been doing, but he says this: I'm just paraphrasing. Don't drink anything after 2:00 p.m. (except water) on the day of the cleanse. I've done 14 or 15 cleanses and have never drank any water or anything after 2:00, but he says that you can drink water. Has anyone else drank water after 2:00 p.m.? Thanks, Susie
Guest guest
I have..I get too thirsty toherwise. I did it on Agnes's advice. Thanks a bunch, Suzanne. I may try it this time. I've never done it before and may be the reason that I'm so weak the next morning. Susie
Guest guest
Yes but when I do Dr.'s cleanse. Thanks for your response. I have an old printed copy that I've saved with the instructions for the cleanse (Dr. 's). It says on my old copy that you don't have anything after 2:00 p.m. So this is why I've not had water after that time. I will probably start doing it, but then I'll keep it to a minimum. A couple of times I was so weak that it really scared my husband because I couldn't hardly hold a glass at the time that he brought me juice. So I'll definitely do this! Thanks! Guest guest
Hi, , Yeah, I'm on a healthy diet. I was on Dr. Cabot's eight-week plan a couple of years ago, but now I just try to stick by her basic eating plan. Of course, sometimes I have something that I shouldn't have!!! The last time that I had a cleanse was Feb. Before that, it was a little over a year ago. I started cleansing in Jan. 2000 and use Dr. 's recipe, but I have tailored it for myself. Like I add 1/4 cup organic apple juice to my mixture and a little fresh-pressed ginger to cut the nausea. I was just reading s Moritz book and found that about nothing after 2:00 except water. My printed copy of the cleanse simply says " nothing after 2:00. " Also, I took a high enema yesterday afternoon. I was noticing in s' book that an enema needs to be taken 3 days after the cleanse, so I'm going to try that this time. Now, I did a cleanse in Feb. like I was telling you. About two weeks after the cleanse, I have a severe GB attack and had to go to ER. Same thing happened on 4/25. I had to go to ER again. Everything that I tried didn't stop the pain. At that time, I had an ultrasound and it showed two stones in my GB. Both were in the neck of my GB. I was seriously thinking of having surgery, but I've worked so hard all these years. The doctor said to me that maybe I could pass these. It's my guess that since the cleanse those two stones are constantly moving around. I've had to be especially careful what I eat. Meaning, we eat grass-fed beef, but I can't even eat that. So I'm hoping this cleanse will help move those puppies out. Take care, Susie

But never extremely weak, I just lie and rest a bit longer on those mornings. But leads me to a couple questions...how frequently are you flushing? Are you doing an enema or taking epsoms, whichever you chose (I do enema) right away in the morning to get the toxins to move quickly out of your system? If you wait, then body begins to re-digest all that " yuck " that has passed from the gallbladder/liver into the small intestine, and you don't want that. Also, are you in generally good health, eating a good diet or taking vitamin supplements so that you are not going into the flush depleted? But still, remember it is normal to feel somewhat weak after flushing so many toxins into the sytem, remember the blood goes through the liver and it filters almost all of the toxins that go into our body, among it's many other helpful functions. Guest guest
Susie, I was just wondering if you maybe have low blood sugar when you are so weak? I have problems with low blood sugar and I get extremly weak when i do. I was just thinking if you are fasting maybe your blood sugar might be low? Just a thought. >From: " L. Guest guest
Susie, I was just wondering if you maybe have low blood sugar when you are >so weak? I have problems with low blood sugar and I get extremly weak when i Hi, , I'm not as weak this time and think it's because I had some water periodically. I just didn't pass as much as I wanted to. I sure was hoping to get those two small stones out of my GB; however, I'm not finished passing everything yet. In s' book it states that you ALWAYS need to do a colonic or enema 3 days after the cleanse because there's always more stones. Well, I haven't been doing this. I've never had a colonic either. I do have an enema bag and can take a high enema. Oh, I did pass a bunch of white stuff this time. Also, it could be that what came out this time had moved forward from my last cleanse. I guess if you get anything out, it's successful! Susie

Maybe my blood sugar's a little low and it is affecting me during the cleanse. But this time wasn't as bad since I was able to drink water. Guest guest
I would think it would be ok to just keep a glass of apple juice by your bed and sip it during the night.
