Guest guest
When I first decided to try Striant, I asked for input from members of this group. I got both positive and negative comments. After trying the product for a few days, I learned that It was not right for me. That is, if I used it as the drug company says it should be used. When The tablet is placed on the gum, it becomes a gooey mess. It will not stay in place, regardless of how carefully it is positioned. In my mouth, once the tablet becomes wet, it slips out of position, down onto my teeth. After I put the package away for a couple of days, I began to wonder if there were some other way I could use the tablets in which I had invested. The product is designed to deliver testosterone through mucosal membrane. There are mucosa in other areas of the body - nasal, vaginal, rectal, even the uncircumcised penis has mucosal tissue. I started to look around on the web and learned that testosterone suppositories are, on occasion, prescribed for male and female patients. The article which made my mind up to use the Striant tablets rectally had to do with the fact that baby boys whose genitalia are not developing properly are sometimes given testosterone rectally. I reasoned, if it is good for baby boys, it can't hurt me. To make a long story short, I am now using Striant as a rectal suppository. I will let you know how it goes. art
