Guest guest
Hi Donna: There are many things you can do to slow down growth as many have suggested. A diet with higher doses of fruits and vegetable, higher doses of vitamin D3. You can take up to 10,000 IUD a day. I have attached information about Medicinal mushrooms that this company has seen a high rate of success. www.peagsusbp.org Best of luck Al I was diagnosed with Barrettes esophagus, I had a scope today and the doctor sent off a couple of biopsies. Is there anything I can do to cure, stand off, or make better? Thanks, Donna ACS

Guest guest
Hi Donna sorry for what you going though and sorry to say my uncle died from this type of cancer about 6 years ago. I know if he was still alive he would not let me help him, as he would only do treatments what prescribed by his doctor. but what I do is not treatment its a cancer controling diet and I been told by a lot of people it helps. I remember my uncle would have chemo get a bet better but months later it get worst again to finally the chemo just stopped working. his cancer was adenocarcinoma and I have found Barrettes esophagus, (or have read ) is it usually always adenocarcinoma of the esophagus or gland cancer. I have been told by other patients the treatment I use ( with just a few changers) will help, I have been told that some cancer respond with increase in fruit and veg. I have found that the Veg is OK but having fruit with adenocarcinoma makes it worst, if you want I post you a diet I got from a naturopath I got in 2007 and let you know the changes to it then you can take it from there all the best Ray Randal http://www.utdol.com/patients/content/topic.do?topicKey=~3AoTXQDeq.jDg BARRETT'S ESOPHAGUS OVERVIEW The esophagus is the tube that connects the mouth with the stomach Barrett's esophagus occurs when the normal cells that line the lower part of the esophagus (called squamous cells) are replaced by a different cell type (called intestinal cells). This process usually occurs as a result of repetitive damage to the inside of the esophagus. The most common cause of Barrett's esophagus is longstanding acid reflux disease, called gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). In people with GERD, the esophagus is repeatedly exposed to excessive amounts of stomach acid. Interestingly, the intestinal cells of Barrett's esophagus are more resistant to acid than squamous cells, suggesting that these cell may develop to protect the esophagus from acid exposure. The problem is that the intestinal cells have a risk of transforming into cancer cells. INTRODUCTION Barrett's esophagus is the condition in which an abnormal, intestinal-type epithelium called specialized intestinal metaplasia replaces the stratified squamous epithelium that normally lines the distal esophagus. The condition develops as a consequence of chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and predisposes to the development of adenocarcinoma of the esophagus. The issues related to the clinical manifestations and diagnosis of Barrett's esophagus will be reviewed here. The pathogenesis, malignant transformation, and management of this disorder, including surveillance for adenocarcinoma, are discussed separately. I was diagnosed with Barrettes esophagus, I had a scope today and the doctor sent off a couple of biopsies. Is there anything I can do to cure, stand off, or make better?
