Guest guest
Dear , I can only describe what happened to me. I know others may disagree. Here goes. I have chronic Lyme 24 years. When I first got sick I was told by a doctor that I had Hypoglycemia or low blood sugar. I studied up on it and went on a Pavo Airola diet which allows small high protein meals, often. So, I snacked on nuts, cheese etc. This got me through my second pregnancy with far less severe morning sickness. However, the low blood sugar problems have persisted all these years until I went on the Hallelujah diet over 3 years ago. This diet has lots of RAW, LIVING vegies and fruits. It is totally vegan. The body is made up of Living Cells containing DNA. Each cell reproduces itself on a regular basis. Depending on what food you give to these cells determines how they reproduce. If you give your cells DEAD FOOD (cooked, processed food) your body may feel satisfied for a short while, but then it will scream out for some real nutrition, giving you that " sick-hungry " feeling. But if you give your cells Super Fuel they will reproduce stronger and start to heal problems that you previously had. When the pancreas makes insulin it passes through the body to the cells where the insulin receptors are. Because these cells are so coated in fat & buttermilk the insulin cannot get through this coating to the insulin receptors. The blood sugar level goes up and calls out for more insulin. As soon as you cut out your meat and dairy, usually within days the blood sugar levels stop fluctuating and return to normal. Whilst you are pregnant you can start adding fresh raw carrot juice, raw vegies, fruits, seeds and nuts. (If nuts are upsetting your GB at the moment, go easy on them to start with.) You will feel so much better and your baby will be healthier. I wish I had known about this all those years ago when I had my babies. Babies born to Hallelujah moms don't have the colic, mucous, runny noses etc like babies born to women on the SAD (standard American diet.) Check it out for yourself. www.hacres.com Try it for 21 days and see if your low blood sugar clears up. It really works. Wishing you health, Rosemary. ----- Original Message ----- From: " Schurdevin " <rachelschurdevin@...> <gallstones > Sent: Sunday, May 25, 2003 6:31 AM Subject: Re: Low Blood sugar. > do you know what caused your low blood sugar? Guest guest
Rosemary, Thank you so much for all the info. I have a friend who is a raw fooder and last summer she told me to start juicing and that would help my blood sugar, so I did and it really did help alot, so by the time I went to get tested for hypoglycemia the test were normal. (i did cheat a little by drinking and eating sunflower sprouts before the test). SO after I started to feel better I just stopped juicing and went back to my old ways!! OOPS!! I guess I will start juicing again to start with!! My blood sugar is so much worse than it was last summer so I think I will take it slow so I dont pass out!! I went to the website you gave me, and as it is right now I dont think I would make it to lunch on that diet!! I will just slowly eliminate the bad things from my diet now. Can kids do this diet too? My son is 2, and I dont want him to have the same problems I do. But it doesnt seem like he would get all he needs from it.Thanks!! rachel >From: " Vic and Rosemary " <roseagain@...> >Reply-gallstones ><gallstones > >Subject: Low Blood sugar. >Date: Mon, 26 May 2003 14:11:31 -0700 > >Dear , >I can only describe what happened to me.
